Paredon Surf House

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel! The location is perfect, right on the beach with direct ocean access. The female dorm and all the bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. The entire staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. A special thank you to the manager, who creates such a warm and positive atmosphere and brings both the team and guests together. The restaurant is another highlight – everything is fresh, homemade, and absolutely delicious. I would definitely stay here again!

As a traveler, peace, quiet, and quality are very important to me. From Sunday to Friday, this was one of the quietest places I experienced in El Paredón, making it the perfect place to relax. On Friday and Saturday nights, the neighboring club can be a little noisy, but the hostel is already working on a solution by building a new soundproof section. I really appreciate how seriously they take feedback and their commitment to constantly improving the guest experience.

Rica comida, la mejor ubicación en el paredón, están en reformas, pero no interfiere en la buena experiencia del lugar, recomendado al 100% sin lugar a dudas volveríamos.

Amazing and attentive staff, with complimentary coffee and tea in the morning. Comfortable pool, plenty of seating and hammocks, and great proximity to the beach.

The food at the restaurant is a bit overpriced. On weekends, there is a lot of noise from the nearby club that makes it hard to sleep (at least in the women’s dorms)

The property itself is lovely; the pool is great, the grounds are very well-maintained, and the food was delicious.

However, I felt quite uncomfortable with the behavior of one of the male staff members. He consistently approaches women in the female-only dorms, giving them flowers, putting them in their hair, and asking personal questions about their relationship status. What might seem like "friendly" behavior at first felt very unprofessional and boundary-crossing. In a space specifically designed for female travelers, you expect a level of professional distance that was unfortunately not respected here. It feels like some staff members are more focused on their private interests than on maintaining a professional environment for the guests. Beautiful place, but the management should really look into staff training regarding professional boundaries.
