The welcome was amazing! As I first opened the door the fireplace was going, there was a lit tree in the corner and there was a fridge full of beverages and a welcome basket with all sorts of goodies including a bottle of sparkling cider.

No issues at all. If anything the stairs to the loft were a tiny bit scary

Feras was a wonderful host, and the chalet was perfect. I was obsessing over the pictures because I really wanted to prepare a family dinner - and he brought in a dining table, and set it...so beautifully! We were greeted with fresh cookies and Maine salt water taffy, mini cheesecakes in the fridge. He had a warm fire going - just an oasis! There was a hot tub we never got to, sadly, but it looked pretty awesome. The was a perfect fit for our little group of three, I think it could comfortably fit a family of four. If it weren't fall (chill and rainy) - we would have loved to take advantage of the watersports offered! (PS, we were able to bring our dog - always a bonus, and we were very grateful for that.)

I hate being asked if we didn't like something because it was the loveliest stay! It definitely was more of an investment than a hotel in Waterville would have been (for Parent's Weekend), but very much worth the price for the space, the ambiance/decor, beautiful outdoor surroundings, and all the lovely extras provided by the wonderful host. We loved it and very much hope to return.
