- NOTE: All guests who are staying or visiting the cabin acknowledge that the owners of The Canoeing Bear cabin are not liable for any injuries, loss of property or damage to the guests personal items including vehicles, boats, motorcycles or personal belongings. All guests agree to not bring any pets into cabin, smoke on premises or light any real candles
- NOTE: The cabin is easily accessed with any 2WD vehicle year-round, During the winter months, there is one paved hill you must drive over to get to the cabin. One or two times a year this hill can ice over in the winter months (Jan/Feb). 4WD is not required but is recommended to access the property during inclement weather conditions in the winter only. Please check the local forecast for Blue Ridge in Jan/Feb for snow or ice conditions prior to your trip
- NOTE: The last 2 miles of the road to the cabin goes through the Chattahoochee forest. If you are unfamiliar with driving on winding country roads in forested areas, we highly recommend you arrive during daylight hours

The property was beautiful, clean, and tastefully decorated. Good attention to detail with decor. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. So many games and books in the cabin. Scented plugin in living room was an allergy issue for one guest. So we unplugged til we were ready to leave.Only big issue was door code was not reset since last guest so we had to call the company who couldn't get in touch with the host. But we were given the code for the last guest so other than being delayed getting in, it worked out.It rained while we were there and the sound of the rain on the roof was wonderful. Would recommend some traction strips be installed on front porch steps as they are slanted and can get quite slippery. Overall we loved our stay.
