This home is really perfect, in so many ways. For us, it was a great set up. We are a family with 2 adult sons, one GF. The upstairs has a beautiful master bedroom (bathroom outside the bedroom so it is accessible for everyone), the downstairs had 2 more large bedrooms with a shared bathroom. We spent most of our time on the main floor; at the large table eating and playing games. On the deck; enjoying the beautiful scenery and the Eagles! Or down on the dock where we all enjoyed the kayaks, the docks for fishing and relaxing, and the swim platform. It's a nice sized lake; large enough for some activity, small enough that it's very peaceful. We also rented a pontoon on Yellow Lake from BooneDocks Marine... great fun! The home itself is so well stocked and cared for. It was very clean and had everything you need; we all flew in from different places, and if we didn't bring something, it was in the house!! We've been renting vacation homes for 15 years, and this is one of the best!!Angie was super communicative, renting was easy, all of the directions were simple. We would definitely come back again! The only thing that I think could be a challenge for some, and it's clearly stated in the information, is that there are a lot of stairs. Going down to the house from the driveway isn't too bad. But if guests want to go down to the water, there are many steps. We were fine with it, and joked about getting "our steps in", but it is something to note.Beds are super comfortable, Kitchen has everything for cooking (plus spices and a few condiments), plenty of bathroom supplies and towels for the lake!! Lots of games and Tvs too!! Just loved this place!!

I visited this property with one friend for a work-from-away break a couple years ago and we loved it, saying we needed to return with more of our friends. We finally made that happen this weekend and the whole group loved it. We enjoyed the spacious living areas, fabulous winter views, and thoughtful inclusions like coffee grounds, plenty of pots and pans, ample toilet paper and towels, even an air fryer!

My family really enjoyed our stay. Viola is a beautiful lake, and we had beautiful views from the living room and deck. We felt like we were living in a tree house! The kayaks and swim raft were a hit. I personally enjoyed a spacious kitchen with plenty of counter space.
The steps all had railings except for maybe the last 8 to access the lake. As a grandmother, I would have appreciated railings there. The gas grill is funky but the owners helped us figure it out.
In response to an earlier review, I'd like to note that the home was very clean.
