Dillon Beach House with Ocean Views 1 Min Walk to Beach Path

If you are familiar with Dillon Beach you will love this house. I was surprised how easy the access to the beach was give the location of this property. A short walk down the road leads to a trail that lands you on the beach in less than 5 minutes from the door. And if you didn’t get enough of the ocean the view from the living room includes plenty of the pacific and Bodega Head. Plenty of sleeping space for our party of 6 adults, two kids, and a baby.

Another great vacation making memories in this lovely home. Perfect location close to the beach. Plenty of room for the whole family including the fur baby! Great back yard with bbq fire pit and my favorite, a spa. The kitchen well stocked. Hope to be next year for more fun!

Really enjoyed this eclectic home that has a lot of character. Large front windows to give a gorgeous view of the ocean. Beautiful back yard with hot tub, fireplace and grill. House is well equipped with everything you need and is a comfortable place to be. Everything was clean when we arrived. Checkin instructions nice and easy even in needing to access the lock box. It was a perfect home for our girls trip. Would definitely stay here again.

Darling inside and out! Perfect location, short walk to trail that leads to the beach or you can just enjoy the view from the dining room table. Love that it is mainly single story except a few bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. Well equipped, comfy beds, plenty of towels. We will be back for sure!

This home is casual and comfortable and is ideal for a multi-generational family. Our group consisted of me, my sons and their families which included my adult and teen-aged grandchildren and two dogs. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the fire pit in the evening. Everyone agreed that we should make this a yearly event!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. It was well stocked throughout and the location is unbeatable. In the backyard, The hot tub was lovely, and the outdoor shower was a bonus to rinse off after walking in the sand at the beach, and made rinsing off the dog super easy, too. The gate was easy to open and close, and the fully fenced and tidy back yard was a safe place for the dog to wander around in. The kitchen had all pots and pans needed for several different meals. The microwave worked just fine. I think the oven ran a little cool, so just note that when you are cooking and maybe crank up the heat a bit. The dining area was comfortable for all six of us. The beds and bedrooms were comfortable. One thing I do want to note here is they provided some difficulty for my older relative, as the stairs are very steep, and she was unable to go up and down the stairs. The bedroom on the ground floor has a VERY tall bed (like 4 feet tall), so she needed help getting in and out. We had a great time and would definitely consider staying here again.

Being the first gathering of our family together since before the pandemic we wanted a special place for this reunion. Two of our sons live in Santa Rosa, so Dillion Beach seemed like a good place for us to converge, with one son's family in Kentucky, and our daughter and son in law, and my wife and I in Washington state. The beach was wonderful and kept our two grandsons occupied during the daytime. There was plenty of room in the house for the 10 of us. Furnishings were tastefully done, plenty of cooking utensils and gadgets supplied, and the backyard was set up for cozy evenings outside by the fire, although during our stay it got pretty chilly outside once the sun set, and we didn't actually use the fire pit or hot tub (next time!). Picturesque view out to the bay from the picture windows in the dining room, (but shades would have been useful once the evening sun sank to eye level.) I think the owner has a winner here. I hope to rent it again in the future!!!

Pictures on the site make it look small but it is very spacious. The house is steps from the beach trail. I had a great 50th birthday there! It was very relaxing and wonderful.

My family had a great time on this house in Dillon Beach. The house has a interesting 70’s decoration but we all liked it and found it very functional and fun. It is located just a short walking distance from the beach and the front large windows on the dining room proportionate to the great view from the ocean. The owner allowed us to bring with us our small dogs and they also had a blast going to the dog friendly beach of Dillon Beach. The fence in the backyard has collapsed but the owner is on the way of constructing it back and they told us about it before we went to the house. You still have relative privacy when using the hot tub or hanging out around the fire pit. The kitchen is well furnished with all you need to cook a meal for the family. We found the house clean and check in was with no problems. Thanks for letting us enjoy your place. We will recommend it to friends in the future.

Fun time with family.

The location is amazing and the main living area is cozy with a perfect large farm-like table to enjoy board games and a nice morning cup of coffee with a spectacular view! The hot tub was lovely too. We hope to return.

This was a magical place to spend our family Christmas. Nothing compares to the gathering around that table with the view. From the days at the beach to the evenings in the hot tub and around the campfire, all was provided for our stay. So many towels and enough blankets to keep us dry and warm, the host provided even to the detail of brand names of soaps and shampoos. The upstairs space was perfect for all the cousins (6 of them under 10) and even our dog was a welcomed guest.

We had a wonderful time at this property. The view was amazing, the fire pit in the backyard was so much fun and getting to the beach was easy! The house had everything you could need, even tools for our crab dinner! We would definitely stay again.

While the location of this property is what drew us to it, the photos here on VRBO are NOT what this place actually looks like. If fact, I was horrified to see what they did to the place. There is a very large flamboyant Elton John painting in the dining area and extra large prints of faces staring at you in one of the bedrooms, Amazon jungle tribal warriors in the living room, extra large lips and other odd photos that all have nothing to do with a Beach Motif which clearly is not what the photos posted online offer any potential guest going to the coast. The worst part of it was the psychodelic curtains of large mushrooms with eyes staring at you in both the upstairs and downstairs bedrooms. We felt uncomfortable most of the time. The BBQ did not work well at all and caused quite a delay for our cooking schedule. The living room furniture went from what was previously comfortable big leather couches, to small industrial style uncomfortable couches and orange retro hard small chairs. Some of the beds were very lumpy and need updating. I put a lot of planning into our stay as we were having a lovely older women's retreat and was really not happy about what has transpired here. There are cameras set up as well, so along with all the eyes staring at us, there seems to be security watching. It was all we could do to make the best of it. If you are looking for a good peaceful stay with beach motif and privacy, it's just not here. I only wish I could show you the photos I took so you could really get a better understanding of why I felt compelled to write this poor review. (sad)

A wonderful home in the best location! We had a great family gathering. The owner needs to update the photos as the interior looks NOTHING like the photos listed. Home has been redecorated to a very contemporary vibe (which some may not like) with lots of original pop art (which I loved!) Kitchen well equipped and functional. The beds are super comfy with nice linens. Extra points for the hot tub…what a treat after a nice long walk on the beach. Sadly the backyard fence was down and the BBQ was not working properly. But we made the best of it and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had a family getaway to escape the heat. Our group was three families - 7 adults and 5 kids. Seemed like there was one sleeping space missing - wonder if the upstairs large play room had a trundle for one of the twin beds? Location of this gem was perfect. 3 min walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood, low traffic. Older kids enjoyed being able to skateboard / ripstick to end of block to take in the ocean. The house was equipped with all you could need. We had an issue with the dishwasher door not closing, therefore we could not use it. Hand washing all our dishes was a hassle but the owners were accommodating. Front porch area was a perfect added space. We hope to be back for sure!

The house was cozy and the kitchen well equipped. Location was great, easy walk to the beach.

The property was lovely, and very comfortable for our group of friends! We especially loved the front deck with ocean views and the cozy dining room. A few things (including the hot tub) weren't working when we showed up, but the hosts were responsive and worked on getting things fixed before we left.

There were several things not working. The microwave doesn’t heat. The freezer door opens every time you close the fridge door. The mattress on the fold out bed has mold. The dishwasher never did dissolve the soap pod. The location is perfect and the front deck really helps. I would say it’s suitable for six guest max and needs some repairs

This house was a good size for our family gathering. The game room upstairs was great for the kids and the closeness to the beach made it easy for the whole group to visit the beach multiple times during the day.

Cozy house and perfectly located with easy access to dillon beach. Loved the art and replica of the iconic photo of Elton John! We will definitely look to return. We were pleasantly able to use the grill in the back too! Thank you for having a full tank of gas and an extra one if needed for us. A very, very minor recommemdation is to invest in new pots and pans.

Felt like home and the biggest plus was having the beach path so close! Also was good that there was an enclosed backyard where bikes could be stored safely. Neighbors and other locals who we met were lovely. We hope to be back!

We had 14 age 30+ women staying for a cozy October weekend "bachelorette" party. The magnificent coast line framed the house and the women thoroughly enjoyed a very short walk to the beach to take in the sunset, experience early morning yoga on the soft sand and gather in the living room, with a warm glow from the fire illuminating the smiles for visiting. The bride was extremely happy with the environment. The house would be especially wonderful for a group of less than 10 due to the small kitchen. There are plenty of opportunities for kids with games and sleeping for the little ones in trundle beds. Although there was not interest in TV watching, we were not able to get any reception or clear instruction on how to operate. We were able to project a homemade video of the future bride and groom, however. We look forward to renting this lovely home in the future when our adult kids and grandkids come to visit. Thank you.
