Villa Tamara

Verwarmd zwembad, rustige omgeving. Bij aankomst was er een pakket voorzien om de eerste dag te kunnen eten. Melk, eieren, koffie etc. Zeezicht.

The pool area was lovely with beautiful surrounding views. Transport links are very convenient to Lindos, bus is 2 euros and a taxi costs 10 euros. This was a home away from home for us. We loved our stay :)

We know this isn't something that can be changed. But as the villa is situated on a hill, the walk back up from the beach and the shops can be difficult in the heat. People with limited mobility would struggle.

The villa was lovely and the pool was amazing with beautiful views we enjoyed the use of the outdoor bbq/kitchen the most and took full advantage thankyou.

Some of the furnishings were a little worn and the aircon in two of the bedrooms were not so effective down to age I presume but not a huge issue.

Met personally at the Villa to be shown around and given keys despite it being midnight when we arrived. Also a fabulous welcome pack of food and provisions was provided which allowed us to make a great breakfast the next day, Thankyou so much, very thoughtful . When we had issues about maintenance the staff responded promptly. The beds were very comfortable. The pool and outside area are stunning, spacious, and very clean. The Villa is very spacious and well equipped with crockery and pans etc. The views are stunning, and it’s a short downhill walk to the beach. Very easy to get a taxi to Lindos town, the location was excellent for us as we were attending a family wedding nearby.

One of the bedrooms was basically unusable to sleep in due to noise from the swimming pool pump which ran all night. It was like trying to sleep with a washing machine operating behind your head. Also this room has no window or natural sunlight. Artful photography has been used to make it appear to have light. The downstairs bathroom does not have a toilet seat. We were told a new one was on order but it didn’t arrive in the 8 days we were there. Also a shower curtain was missing but this was replaced the next day when we mentioned it, so these factors detracted from our holiday experience. We complained about the noise of the pump but nobody came to see if they could resolve the issue. Some of the decor / furniture is quite tired and would benefit from updating.
