Welcome to the Seanery Cottages Main House — a charming, updated 130-year-old beach house with peaceful ocean views from nearly every room. Thoughtfully furnished with custom-made pieces, this inviting space blends heritage charm with modern comfort, offering the perfect place to relax, read, and breathe in the sea air.
The home features three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living and dining rooms, and a bright sunroom — all designed with comfort and calm in mind. Step outside to lush gardens and a spacious yard overlooking St. Margaret’s Bay. Just across the road, enjoy a dip from our small beach, or take a scenic 1 km stroll to a larger one.
Located in the quiet seaside community of Mill Cove in Hubbards, NS, the Seanery Cottages Main House is just 5 minutes from Aspotogan Ridge Golf Course, cafés, restaurants, grocery and liquor stores, and several beautiful beaches. Halifax is only 35 minutes away, with Chester and Mahone Bay just 20 and 30 minutes by car.
Whether you’re looking to unwind or explore the stunning South Shore, the Seanery Cottages Main House is the perfect place to call home.
Need space for two more? A separate, self-contained guest unit is also available on the property — ideal for friends or family traveling together.

We were 3 couples spending a few days together after a family wedding - the house was perfect for us, with everything we needed, and several sitting areas inside and out - we loved the deck looking out at the wharf and lobster boats - had lobster dinner at the Shore Club one night & picked up pizza at Alexandra’s another - will definitely be back

A lovely little cottage on the water! It served as our home base while we explored and was a great location. We had a wonderful stay. Suzanne checked in with us to make sure everything was fine. The house is exceptionally well equipped and we were left with a few treats. The view from the house and porch was magical. Lots to do in the area. We will be back.
