Best location in Delft!

Great location next to the Delft station. The hotel is clean, the beds are comfortable. Overall we are happy with our choice - perfect price-quality ratio.

Freezing in Delft

Good location right next to the train station and only a short walk to the city centre.

Our room was absolutely freezing. Even after we increased the temperature to the maximum, nothing changed - the AC kept blowing cold air. We called reception and they did provide extra duvets, which was nice, but would have preferred if the unit worked. Getting out of the shower was not the pleasant! (Due to cold). Also, our room was facing the roof terrace where a bunch of people decided to have an afterparty at 5:30, lots of screaming and door banging. This was just bad luck and not necessarily the hotel’s fault but maybe locking the terrace for the night could be an option.

Very convenient for arrival by train, also late arrival is possible 24 hours; nice room with all you need for a good stay.

I arrived late, thus could not book one of the nicer old hotels in the Centre - but will consider coming back to ibis.

It is nice but not client oriented.

Location is good, room was clean

We booked the hotel and received a confirmation that everything was ready. However, when we arrived, the room was not ready, and we had to wait for 20 minutes, even though we arrived on time. Secondly, during check-in we asked at the reception whether it was necessary to reserve breakfast in advance. The staff member told us that reserving breakfast was not required, and that in the morning we could see how the breakfast service looked and then decide whether to have breakfast at the hotel or go to Anne&Max, a nearby café. However, when we came in the morning, the receptionist informed us that the breakfast area will be full because many people supposed to come for breakfast and suggested that our family sit at high stools as an alternative even thought our kids are 8 years old. This was unexpected and inconvenient. We went to a cafe for breakfast then.

We would happily stay again.

The location was great. Right by the train station and an easy walk into Delft. The room was large and very clean. Nice quality bedding and lovely big windows that you could actually open instead of having the stoppers on them. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. If you didn’t want the IBis breakfast there is a cafe next door called Ann&Max and they did lovely healthy options and you get a 10% discount if you show your IBIS keycard. The reception area was interesting and funky.

A nice weekend reprieve

Room was bright and clean. Big windows and great view. Tall ceilings. Cute decorations. Fantastic to walk off the train and the hotel is right outside the station.

No where to sit at breakfast. Staff didn't seem to have my name on the breakfast list even though I paid and confirmed the night before. My room was right by a main hallway door that slammed loudly every time.

Perfect location for sightseeing Delft and The Hague

The location is very good. We could store our luggage before check-in and after checkout. This was very handy as we travelled by train (and did not have a car to store our bags).

There was confusion about the bill, specifically the tax. The way this was handled was not friendly.

Decent facilities, bad breakfast and rude staff

The room was good and quiet. Bed was good, the AC was okay. And the bathroom was also good in my view.

However the big downsides of this hotel are: 1) the staff is super rude and unfriendly. Really not recommended at all. Just grumpy youngsters who do not want to work there. And the breakfast is incredibly bad, and uncomfortable because it is literally just in the lobby, not comfy at all.

My booking was for TU Delft 5 min walk Large kitchen through Agoda. We found out that the property did not have private washroom, though it had advertised as having one. Ibis Styles Delft City was a compromise choice for us.

Great location, a must if staying in Delft

So central and easy to find. Walking distance from pretty much everything. Spotless rooms etc. Would definitely come back again for location and facilities. Literally everything in walking distance you wanna go to Rotterdam for the day? You wanna go to yourUtrecht the day you want to go anywhere you’ve got trains trams and delft itself within walking distance.

Found staff very negative. They weren’t interactive borderline unfriendly ,no interest in interacting given information etc. the day we were checking out we were offered a area map really feel they could’ve offered that on the day we were checking in. Two lovely girls on duty the second day of our stay. Made such a difference.

Comfortable accommodation in prime location

The location was fantastic, within a block of the railway station, and near the old centre of Delft. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a good breakfast available, and coffee and tea always on offer.

Beautiful modern hotel in a convenient location

The hotel is incredibly clean and attractive. The bed was firm and comfortable. The windows opened generously in the room we had and the bathroom was nicely lit with a great waterfall shower. There is a solid buffet breakfast and the hotel is literally 100 steps from the Delft train station and five minutes to the old city.

Arriving 90 minutes before checkin and being told there is a room ready only to follow that with ‘if you pay us 15 euros extra.’ Is the fee really worth the taste that leaves? If the room is ready, why not let us occupy it? We didn’t even ask. There is no hardship to the hotel, leaves guests pleasantly surprised and avoids a second checkin encounter 90 minutes later.

Delft is a Beautiful city. The hotel made it all an enjoyable stay.

The location of the hotel is excellent. When we arrived we upgraded to a Family room. The staff were very helpful and answered all our questions. I think the breakfast could have had more choice. ( No Toaster !!! ). The station is only a stone throw away, which helps to visit other cities. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel. A very enjoyable stay.

The location is perfect for the station. The room exceeded my expectations with a panoramic view of the city was spacious with some stylish features. Everything is modern and very clean. They take care of your luggage so you can enjoy the city easily after checkout

A clean and comfortable hotel to explore the area

This is a simple hotel, nothing fancy, no major frills and it was exactly what we wanted. The room was good sized and very clean. The hotel was a quick walk from the train station and a short walk to everything we wanted to see including the historic Delft city center, TU Delft, and the Delft factory/tour. It's a perfect place to locate to tour the area, proximity to the train station makes it simple to hop a train almost anywhere in the area including the Hague, Rotterdam, Gouda, and any number of other cities radiating out from the station.

Having coffee in the room would be nice. I understand there is free coffee downstairs, but being able to get coffee first thing in the morning without having to walk downstairs would be nice.

Location great, had a corner room . Loved the clock on the roof of the room. The bed was comfy. Breakfast was good value.

Enjoyable staying experience

Excellent location, only 2 minutes away from Delft train station/bus station and within a walking distance (approximately 10 minutes) from the city centre. The hotel personnel was very friendly and helpful. I appreciated a lot that the bed was comfortable and the room was very clean and quiet.

The welcome drinks is good. The guess may take as much as they want to drink in the lobby such a cup of tea/coffee or fresh drinks during their stay. The location is very good and easy to find nearby the train station. It has very comfortable sleeping room.

There are not available wellness or sport facilities such as swimming pools inside or outside in hotel. The choices of food for lunch/dinner is not so much options.

It's good place for staying.

The large bedroom felt empty and had no fridge, no kettle for tea, no Nespresso machine, which are basic amenities today. Limited place to hang clothing. Bathroom was like a hospital bathroom and shower water wet he entire floor. No bath cap, no facial tissue, no glass to rinse.
