Our host was quick to reply to each message pre booking through our travel. The property is pet friendly and the surrounding area beautiful. We were meeting up with relatives for a reunion at Lake Charlevoix which is very close, as are Traverse City and Mackinac Island. Unfortunately an injury cut short our stay but I cannot praise our host enough for providing a lovely place for people and their furry kids to enjoy and for his care for his guests.

Everything about this place - cottage and land was wonderful! Super comfortable, “homey”, and amenities were outstanding. Lit the “Christmas” tree every day. Love love the fact that we could bring our dog with us. She had a great time exploring the property. The walk to the boat ramp was short which we did every day so our dog could go swimming. Went to Traverse City, Petoskey, Gaylord, and Mackinaw City as they were close by. We enjoyed Northern Michigan and can’t wait to come back to this place!

This was our second stay here. The house is well-maintained, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay again and will definitely be looking to return!
