A good choice for a short stay

Typical Holiday Inn Express design: know one and you know all. Nice buffet, airy breakfast room, no time pressure. Friendly reception. Clean. Quiet.

Nothing to complain about. I would have preferred a proud touch of open local products (e.g. local cheeses) at the buffet. Emmental and Gouda cheeses are nothing but an international bore.

Great no fuss comfortable hotel

Really clean hotel with nice room. Just next to the border. We stayed here overnight to limit our late night journey from Zurich airport to just an hour. Plenty of restaurants nearby as well as shops to buy food. Really cool bar and area to work if you need to do that. Perfect for a one night stay.

Most restaurants nearby close around 10pm. So you can end up missing out. Otherwise, nothing negative say.

Extra costs for the dogs 25€/pet!!!

The breakfast was really good and you had a lot of options.They had also take away coffee ! The woman in the reception in morning was very kind and friendly.

Unkind personal!!! When we arrived with our 3 Chihuahuas ,after a long trip (around 22:00 we were there)we were very tired and we just wanted to go to our room to sleep. The woman to the reception informed me that we have to pay for our dogs and she mention 25€/dog. As I already mentioned we were tired and I really didn’t want to discuss more so I told her that to the booking site they don’t mentioned that is so expensive and that if I knew I will book an other better hotel.Then she felt uncomfortable and an other woman(with glasses) from an other Position started to talk with us and she said that they write that on their website and it was possible also not to give us a room because I didn’t write them in advance that we have dogs and they have just some rooms pet friendly , so I answered to her that I didn’t check and I didn’t need to check their website as I booked the room from Booking and there they don’t mentioned that and I wonder why to the platform they don’t list the usual extra fees and that they should do it in the future!! Then they started to talk in German as they thought that we don’t know the language (my husband is German) and they complained ,telling oh why again to me such people etc. In the end they said that they will do us a „favor“ and to pay just 25 euros for all and we are lucky that the room is free. I have never paid so much money for my dogs and if I had known beforehand, I would not have booked the hotel. I find that totally inappropriate , especially without any extra service (no basket, no treats).And we received in return a room with a smell of pipi everywhere and extremely dirty!!

It was okay but at this price we have stayed at hotels where the experience was much much better.

The extra bed was very uncomfortable. The room was very very small.

The breakfast spread could have been better and the extra bed (for the kid) should have been more comfortable.

Nice one-night stay

Good modern and clean hotel, nice breakfast, friendly staff

Paying 25 eur extra for a dog is too much what's not mentioned upfront (when the stay itself is 100 eur), plus you pay extra for their own parking (5 eur). We chose the hotel based on the price, but it's misleading and at the end it was much higher for us and we wouldn't stay there then.

the location,was as we expected when we booked.it is close to major highways either from swizterland and austria too (from, brenner,innsbruck). every day, we went to excursions around constanz's lake (bodensee) and so on.(4 nations around!). we recommend it. we, from , tuscany,italy.

Travel hotel with good value

We used the hotel in transit to holidays in Italy and it delivered what we needed for 1 night. Overall the rooms were comfortable and large enough. Breakfast was really nice. It is rather a bussiness hotel close to a frequent road.
