About this house rental
Charming loft with a bedroom featuring sliding doors beneath the mezzanine.
Up on the mezzanine, there are two single beds.
There is a private heated* plunge pool with a sunny garden; the larger swimming pool is shared with two other small houses, as well as the owners (me, Julia, and our 11-year-old son)... who sometimes deserve to take a dip too :)) but it’s never crowded!!
* In winter or colder months, the water temperature in the swimming pool doesn’t exceed 22–24 degrees
The house is located on a small farm, 10 km from the beach, 12 km from Ericeira, 5 km from Mafra, and 30 minutes from Sintra and Lisbon.
The house features an open-concept layout with an open kitchen and one bathroom.
Baby amenities and a free baby crib are provided.
It has a private garden with a heated plunge pool, a barbecue, and a hammock.
Pets are welcome (please always ask first) with our approval and for an additional fee; a security deposit is required, which is refundable at the end of the stay.
Please be aware in advance that:
- Upon arrival, we must collect the tourist tax. The city council of Mafra imposes a mandatory occupancy tax that must be paid in cash at check-in (€2.02 per person per night from May 1 to October 31, and €1.01 from November 1 to April 30, only for the first 7 days of the stay).
Children under 12 stay free of charge.
- In accordance with Portuguese law aimed at combating human trafficking and other illegal practices, we are required to ask you for your personal details (such as your home address and ID number or passport number) at check-in so that we can forward them to SEF, our Immigration and Borders Service, within 3 days of your arrival.
- If you are arriving on a late flight, please let us know in advance so we can arrange the best check-in option to suit your needs!

Wir waren für eine Woche da und haben die Zeit sehr genossen! Der Jahreszeit entsprechend haben wir den Kamin gerne in Anspruch genommen.
Das Haus ist einfach aber sehr hübsch eingerichtet und bietet alles nötige.
Incl Urlaubskatze, die uns immer begrüßt hat und anhänglich ist, wie ein Hund.

A casa é muito bonita e bem cuidada. O Elio foi muito hospitaleiro e disponivél, nos pasamos um fim de semana otimo na casa da Quinta. O sitio é muito calma e a localização é muito pratica, para quem quiser vir desde Lisboa e disfrutar das praias de Ericeira.
