4 BEDROOM LUXURIOUS WATERFRONT VILLA

I booked the house and went through the entire process just to have it canceled with no explanation. Then I was informed that the rate went up 25%. Not even close to worth it. They said it had 5 bedrooms and sleeps 10, turns out there are only 4 bedrooms, and they did change the distribution after I rented it. There are no closets available in the bedrooms, no chairs to sit on in the bedrooms, no luggage racks for suitcases, one pillow per person, linen is cheap and well used, The towels were all still in the dryer along with wash clothes, there was a total of 5 bath towels and wash clothes. The furniture on the main floor consisted of a futon like sectional that was uncomfortable, four cheap counter stools and a dining room table with six plastic chairs. Kitchen was nicely appointed with dishes and pots and pans The back porch was comfortable with nice outdoor furniture. To sum up, the place was adequate and worth about 1/2 of what we paid.. There are better places for sure.

The house is very nice but items inside the house are bare minimum. We were allowed to drop off luggage earlier than check in time which was nice. The beds are very comfortable but all seem to squeak when you move in them. Only bottom sheets were on each bed. No top sheets. One bedroom has a closet and one has a dresser. Other rooms have no storage. Hot water and water pressure are great. Home is near lots of restaurants and needed items. The view of water is such a beautiful sight. Planes start flying around 6am and end around 11pm. Very loud; earplugs are needed to sleep. There was a fire pit to use. After we bought kindling, we made a fire and it was so nice. The morning is full Sun on the patio but afternoons is more shady which makes a perfect spot to sit and enjoy the outside. There is a nice balcony off the master bedroom but there’s one camping chair. There are pots and pans to cook with in the kitchen. But very few utensils to use. Also 2 glasses were available. Had to use champagne glasses instead. No potholders/lifting rags to get stuff out of the oven The property manager was slow to respond at times but did get back to me each time and was very polite and tried to accommodate issues that arose. There were a couple of trash bags that were provided. A starter of toilet paper for the house and one roll of paper towels were included. There was laundry detergent available as well as dishwashing tabs. There were also coffee filters available to use. The couch is large but very uncomfortable. That’s the only seating available in the living room. There was a brand new grill but no propane tank to use. We had to purchase the tank (which is 3x the amount of just getting one filled) but we had planned on grilling on Christmas Day so we purchased one and left for future tenants. There is a charcoal grill to use. Opened food was left in the refrigerator from previous occupants. We had 6 people- they left 6 washcloths and 7 towels to use for the week. Mgr did send more after informing him. Overall the house has lots of potential to be a very nice home but there is a sense that it is furnished to bare minimum. I was told they have lots of theft from guests which is why there is not more in the home but at this price point, We’ve never stayed in a home with obvious minimalist efforts. Was also told by the manager that he has several properties to manage and doesn’t get to check them often.
