The Cordova Inn, a New Hotel Collection Property

Our stay was awesome! We loved that it was clean, the beds were comfortable and the balcony was awesome for fresh air and a relaxing place to have a drink. The Expresso martinis were delicious. The staff was very helpful with the little snags we came across. We even got a free upgrade when we got there which included getting the beloved balcony. There were lots of places to hangout including terraces, roof top lounge, a bar/ coffee bar, a porch and a book store.

The hot water was a little touchy. We had to ask for assistance with it. The desk clerk helped by turning up the hot water heater and it still took a long time for it to get hot, it finally did and we were able to take a shower. The remotes for the TV are solar but they never see the light of day so I don't understand how that works but the lovely desk clerk got us a new one. Being downtown it was pretty noisy, cars and motorcycles racing down the street all night, nothing the hotel can fix but made it a little hard to fall asleep. We got a free upgrade when we got there but they did not consider the bed size, we requested two queens but got two fulls, but without the upgrade we would not have had a balcony.

I’m an active solo traveler, and this location was perfect for me. I could head out the front door and walk for miles, seeing fun and interesting stuff the whole time. Half mile from the pier and right on the Pinellas bike trail Historical hotel beautifully maintained

About a block and a half walk to the parking garage where the car was kept, but overall was nice to have free parking

Excellent location, loved the architectural details, coffee shop downstairs offered excellent blend!

Tub had stationary water, had to wash it before taking a shower. Blackout shades did keep most of the parking lot’s light out…not all. The mattress was bumpy.
