The host/manager was super responsive and helpful and let us check in early. You just have to text them on the app and they will swing by. The room was nice and has everything you need to stay the night with no bells or whistles, but that helps keep the price down. There is refreshments in the lobby and access to a bike in the garage as well which was a surprise.
More of a commentary on Taitung itself and not the hotel but Uber does not work here so if you want to go to the green island ferry make sure to load up some money on an easy card or bring cash for the bus ($25 NT) or you will have to call a taxi (kind of annoying). Or if you are a local you can rent a scooter.

Disappointing! If you are looking for assistance or on site staff nonexistent. . We spent 3 nights and only encountered staff at check in which required a call. Room was not really cleaned. Ice cream nice touch but nobody ever cleaned the dishes which piled up. Weird vibe.
