A stay with friends
Amelia and Maria not only do their job, they care and they do everything with passion. They always have time for a little chat. The breakfast is yummy. Tropical fruits with yoghurt and muesli, Toast with eggs and omelettes and so on. The location is perfect for those who seek to relax and enjoy the abundant nature. Sunsets by the pool are jaw-dropping. By car, you can easily reach any point of the island although it will be a day trip. The site is very environment friendly. It is truly exceptional!
Breakfast is set at 8:30. Quite a difference to busy Oahu where I ate at 6am. Nevertheless you can ask for a change of time. But if you really leave early to go far you better eat breakfast at a location in Captain Cook. Evening meals are not served but there’s a microwave in the room. Choicemart has a variety of frozen meals.

Beautiful and comfortable accommodations with great views and pool.
Great location. Diana was wonderful. Very helpful with questions and found some extra kitchen supplies for us when I asked. Also offered some fresh papaya from the property for breakfast.

Very nice secluded estate with 3 or 4 view rooms and large pool and deck and wonderful manager.
No breakfast, but a kitchenette with coffee and permission to pick any ripe papayas (they were fabulous), and tables by the infinity pool so bring your own muffins, etc. Manago hotel restaurant is nearby, as are others. It's on the hill above Kealakekua bay and below Captain Cook. We wanted to explore that area so it was a perfect location for us. Wendy the manager is most helpful and charming - any concerns are dealt with immediately.
One or two small cleaning or operational issues, and there should be a shelf in the shower for the shampoo and body wash - tough to use them when they're on the sink counter. Hot tub was sandy with heavy chlorine. But these were minor in the whole picture.

The location is beautiful and just a hop, skip, and a jump from where we needed to be.

Beautiful sunset view from the house. The swimming pool and Sauna. The room with a garden view. King-size comfortable bed. kitchenette in the room. The reception from the staff. 5-minute drive to Manini Beach.
The house is located in the suburb so there are some insects. The narrow winding road from the main road to reach the property.
