About this apartment rental
Our holiday apartments are located in the historic Andreasviertel, in the northern part of the old town bordered by the Petersberg Citadel and the Gera river. The origins of this quarter go back to the 10th/11th century. century back.
In the GDR, the district was systematically left to decay. At the last minute, great citizen protests stopped the demolition and saved the district in the aftermath of the political change. The preserved houses were lovingly restored and existing gaps were closed with modern architecture.
The holiday apartment borders the island-like area "Venice". In addition to a well-kept park, you can find peace and relaxation directly on the Gera. Erfurt residents like to sit on the river bank in spring or summer, relax and enjoy the sunshine. Or you can cycle from here along the Gera cycle path, which leads through the middle of the city center.
