About this house rental
Amazing location for pandemic get-a-way and living! Many outdoor activities and a lot of space to work and study! Welcome to our vacation cabin/chalet we affectionately call “The Chabin”. The Chabin is a charming, Lake Front cabin/chalet nestled on a 2 acre property in the woods. A private path (100 feet) leads you to Deer Trail Lake. The Chabin is a unique mix of a mountain serenity and convenience. Less than two hours from both New York City and Philadelphia!
The cabin is close to three of the Pocono’s main ski resorts, also close to the Crossings Premium Outlets and 10 minutes from the Kalahari Resort and 15 minutes from H2OOO.
FIRST FLOOR
The first floor features a kitchen, dining area (seats 8-12), living room with fireplace, den (with flat screen TV and Queen pull-out), sun/breakfast room, full bath, laundry and screened in porch. Outside deck features picnic table, seating, grill and chimera. Home has WiFi, VCR and flat screen (with cable).
SECOND FLOOR
The second floor features a large, private Master Bedroom with King Bed. The three other bedrooms on the 2nd floor share a vaulted ceiling (but have high walls). These rooms include the “Clubhouse” which has 2 sets of bunk beds (4 twin beds) plus 2 secret hideout areas for kids. A second room as a full bed and a third room has a twin and a crib. There is a full bathroom with shower/tub. Linens are provided. (Also note that there is a Queen pullout in the den…which also has pocket doors so it can be a private area at night-time).
OUTSIDE
The cabin is nestled in the greenbelt and backs up to Deer Trail Beach! In the summers, enjoy sunning, swimming, canoeing and fishing. Enjoy hiking, playing and relaxing on the 2 acre wooded property. A fire pit near the back deck is great for late night s’mores! After a snowfall, you can cross country ski right out the back door.

The property is located in a perfect location, not too far from the slopes, in a quiet neighborhood, and next to a lake. The house has two living rooms, which is awesome, and a well stocked kitchen in terms of bowls and plates. There are three cozy bedrooms and one huge master bedroom upstairs. The entryway to the house is a little small, but overall a fantastic place to cozy up to a warm fireplace.

Property was everything we expected. Place was centrally located to Big Boulder and Jack Frost. Kids had a blast. Home was clean and had everything you could imagine being away from home, including firewood for the fireplace. Ann was great with communication and told us all we needed to know about place upfront. Thank you for a great time!

We had a good time at the chabin. It must be paradise during spring and summer. Kids loved the lake, the beach. The went skiing, easy to get to.
