Skagen is worth the long drive

A traditional house, centered in the village, modernised into safe spacious appartments accessible over a steady wide external staircase. We were lucky to have the top and could overlook the entire village.

The habour is a working habour and smells some days of fish- hence its impossible to get old fish for dinner!

Very poor communication but very clean and comfortable .

Very clean and lovely place to stay

One bedroom was very hot and when we rang for help the person in the end of the phone was not very helpful. She said just open some windows but told us the window in the bedroom that was affected was not able to be opened. Opening the windows did not solve the problem. in the end we were able to open the window in the room and it was only by doing that that we were able to sleep in otherwise what would’ve been a very hot room. I mean a room that was at least 25, 26 or 27°. We had asked what would we do if the room didn’t cool down and the person had responded “it will.” After I booked the accommodation I did send a couple of communications to the place asking them what size the beds were in order for us to work out what size sheets to take. Both times I just got an automated email saying we will get back to you 48 hours before our arrival date. In the end they never told us the size of sheets. One of us actually brought the wrong size. Another email I asked to check that we had booked for two bedrooms and I never got a response to that one. So overall communication was shocking but overall the place was a lovely place to stay.

Nice apartment with all required amenities at perfect locations

Perfect location. It is close to all nice restaurants and supermarkets. Also, apartment is equipped with everything you need for a short stay.

One bedroom doesn't have any window so it can get bit hot. But manageable. You need to buy EXTRA toilet papers and no bathsoap (but handsoap was provided)

The beds were not comfortable and the super central location has a downside in the party week 29, where it’s gets VERY NOISY all night til morning.

Clean and functionnal yet noisy, and beware of hidden extras !

In the center of Skagen. Clean and functionnal.

We had to pay an extra for linens and towels although this had not been specified at booking. It was too late for us to change our plans. The communication wit the host has been quite difficult. The host fnally accepted to redeem half of the amount which we did not consider as satifactory. Another point is the noise, two nights in a row we were woken up by screams and shoutings of partygoers in the midle of the night, traffic noise is also very audible

Very nice apartment

Very nice apartment with nice interior and facilites

The placement is both good and bad. We were placed very central but that entailed too much noise from the bars when the windows were open. It was too hot to sleep with them closed. I wasn't able to change the room temperature for some reason. When we arrived the bathroom smelled very bad but it got better as we used it but still didn't go away completely. That was a bit sad in such a nice apartment.

“Deluxe” not deluxe at all

Renovated apartment in high standard. Spacious and clean In a central location in town

So called “deluxe” apartment has a deluxe price but not deluxe service and facilities: we had to pay for linen separately which didn’t fit the size of the bed and make our own beds Small details are very lacking: lighting in bed room is missing, mirror in bathroom of in front of the sink, no sockets to charge the phone. cheapest IKEA pillows which are uncomfortable etc. apartment was lacking light and can be noisy due to its location

Good, but could be truly great with some very small changes

The apartment is beautiful and seems to be freshly renovated. Looks just like the photos. The cleanliness level is high apart from the dishes. Very comfortable size for a family of four. The location is very central and you can easily walk to many shops and restaurants. Free parking with spaces clearly marked for each apartment.

For the price I didn’t think it was appropriate to charge extra for linens and have to make and strip the beds myself. When leaving one must also clean and put away any dishes when it would be more logical to run the dishwasher at the end of the stay and have the cleaning service put them away. With the current policy guests must hand wash breakfast dishes and put them away, probably in a rush (we found cups with brown stains and pots with eggshells stuck in). It was also annoying that no toilet paper or paper towels were provided. Also be prepared that the central location also means that it is not quiet in the evenings - music and chatter from restaurants downstairs.

Had a very nice talk with the host over phone. We arrived late, so the lock box was very easy for us.

Family referred to this place as the dungeon.

Appliances and kitchenware was relatively new. Furniture seemed new as well.

Ceilings were extremely low. Heads were hit walking through doorways. Strong odor when entering apartment. Windows had to be opened at all times to air out. Bathroom doors couldn’t open and close without hitting floor or light fixture. Exposed water pipes ran through every room. Bedroom door lock and latch inoperable. Severe shortage of basic amenities - dishwasher detergent, toilet paper, no paper towels. Host was unresponsive. No shower curtain. Dryer did not work because it wasn’t vented outside apartment. Towels (including kitchen towels) and sheets not provided. Manager demanded cash to rent towels and sheets because they couldn’t take credit cards. He directed us to ATM. Noisy from children jumping on floors above and construction work being done outside from early in the morning.

The staff was really helpful, the apartment was really nice and new and very clean.

The location is really great and very close to the grocery stores and restaurants. The apartment we got is new and very clean. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend 💛

Since it’s very close to everything, the noise is a little bit too much at night if you have kids even if the windows are shut.

Alt i alt et dejligt sted.

Dejlig gåafstand til det meste. Skagen er meget charmerende.

Sofa i opholdsrum trænger til udskiftning. Der var ligesom "hul" til bagdelen hvor man sad. Dør til altan kunne ikke åbnes og gardinet i opholdsrummet kunne ikke trækkes fra. Vi var der i december, så det med døren og gardinet betød ikke det store.

Super god beliggenhed, lejligheden (nr 3) er velindrettet og hyggelig. Ideel til flere par afsted sammen.

Der er meget lydt i lejligheden og der er MEGET støj fra restauranten nedenunder og især fra natklubben lige overfor. Så man skal være forberedt på der er meget støj om natten, særligt lørdag fortsatte det til ved 5 tiden om morgenen
