Over all a really enjoyable stay. Would return.

Spacious balcony with nice outlook of pretty gardens and mountains, comfortable beds, close to beach and restaurants. Quiet at night for a good nights sleep.

No information regarding cleaning or changing of bins,towels and linen etc. Changed/ cleaned after 4 days.wold have preferred bins to be changed more frequently. A toaster would have been nice.

Great house bad maintnance and rude host

This is my second stay here. I love Agios Gordios and have returned a few times now. The house remains great. Mostly in shade, very near the beach and with a lovely garden. I appreciate the big terrace and rooms in general are decent sized. Also there was a coffee mashine, and this is appreciated.

Compared to a few years ago when I visited, there is little to no maintnance. In a 13day period our room was cleaned once. You have to take out you own trash, but nobody tells you. We had plenty of towels but I had to ask for them twice, and they were changed after 5 days. I don't expect daily cleaning, but for this price there should be at least every 3 days cleaning. The room is a bit dated, but I didn't mind that, I minded that it was quite dirty. My son split a juice on the table cloth and I washed it by hand, brown water came out of it. Quite icky. Also, he wet the bed one night and the lady of the house said she is not washing the waterproof linnen covering the bed under the linen, although it was damp. I had to wash it myself by hand. And the biggest issue was the check out. I agreed with the owner and lady of the house that we can have a longer check out as my son, a baby of 1yrs, woke up with a fever and was sleeping after. I took my bags out, and my older son for breakfast leaving my sister with the baby sleeping in the room. The lady of the house and cleaner came in while they were in the room, firstly started cleaning, moved our diaper bag and baby essentials and asked my sister to take the baby (with fever) and leave the room. This is contra everything we agreed. Getting evicted after we agreed we'd have a longer stay and kicking out a sick baby is really quite bad. I do understand that the owner and lady of the house don't speak any english, but there is an agent that communicated with you in English and a longer check out was agreed upon. I really don't know what to say. My holiday was really ruined by this experience. Funny thing is is that we have booked Sophia's for september before this incident. So there really was an incentive to be polite as we are returning coustumers.

I liked that the place was near everything important: restaurants, stores and the beach

The facilities were quite dirty and it was quite hard to get sleep since you could hear everything the neighbours were doing at all times. Also there was blood on my sheets and nobody came to clean the room during my stay

Well-equipped and central stay in Agios Gordios, but with little staff interaction and slightly dated appliances.

Very cute and leafy green space, private and well-equipped kitchenette plus living space. Really appreciated the available bug repellents and location provided easy access to the town and beach.

Barely interacted and spoke with any staff during our 5-day stay, admittedly we did have a slight miscommunication with our check-in time, but the owner spoke little English and was unable to provide much information about the room and town. The shower also had a very large leak, and I suppose we were left extra towels to deal with the leaking water, but this had not been communicated when checking in or booking the room. Room did have slightly dated appliances, with few instructions.

Old and outdated

The villa has a great location, close to the beach and the lively main street.

The rooms are very old, it smells musty, aircondition is functioning but also very old. The shower is very small with a shower curtain so the entire floor gets wet. We couldn't close the window, the owner had to come and help us. There is a kitchen in the room but there are no chairs so you would have to eat on the beds or outside. Communication with the owner was difficult as he spoke little English. It says on booking.com that there is daily cleaning but there isn't. We had to ask for it and the owner said it wasn't included in the price. The towels we got were hard and old. The place is really expensive for what you are getting and I would not recommend to stay here.

Location is great , 5 min from the beach The place is clean It is a quiet location on the property so you can rest, ( in some days you can hear songs or neighbours around ). The staff are helpful.

I stayed 7 days on the property on the 1st floor 1 family . - Both beds are very firm -No toaster and washing machine ( it wasn't specified that we have ) but it is hard without the washing machine. - the water is going out from the shower as the cuve is small always needs to mop out. . -wifi is not so good, it is always getting interrupted - the furniture is old Per total it was a good place just would be great if this will be added .

Passable

Villa Sophia is a nice place with stunning views ( from apartment Nr. 4 ) . It is close to the beach ⛱️⛱️🏖️ , restaurants and some markets.

First of all , a very big lack of communication from the owner and all the staff because they didn't speak English ( only ''Hello'' and '' Bye Bye '' ) . From my opinion Booking doesn't have to accept this type of owner's..... All the communication with the owner was thru Booking chat... He didn't explain to us anything . On the second day we were at the beach and when we came back home we sow a hose on our floor and we washed our aqua shoes and after we cleaned up the floor but it remained a little bit wet. The owner comes and he speaks in his language and he shouts at us , he takes the hose and he smashes in front of us and after he throws it downstairs.. My wee girl was so scared because of this and the next day we got a message from Booking saying that we have a tap water downstairs for washing aqua shoes. Second thing is in 1 week they never change the bed sheets... On the second day they changed our towels and on the same day they emptied the rubbish bin. Imagine in 1 week to stay with your rubbish bin extra full... Third thing was the AC from the second bedroom leaking a lot of water inside the room on the wardrobe. So we can't use it. I love the location but I will not come back. Booking please check your owners first ... They need to know the minimum of English language.

Disappointing

Actually nothing, this property doesn't worth the money we spent. Very bad impresion about it.

The owner is very rude, no cleaning, no fresh towels in all the days except 1 day that we asked for them to an old lady that was arownd. The shits was probably left from the last tenant because doesn't look clean, very old furniture, the kitchen drowers smell terrible ecc ecc. But the last drop is that after we left the owner lied that we broke an chair or something like this.... My advice is to search for a different location because this one is disgusting but very expensive, not recomended at all.

Sophia Apartments is not to be missed

Villa Sophia is sitated within meters of the beach which made our stay in Agios Gordios that much more enjoyable. The sunsets are not to be missed. I stayed in the family room on the ground floor which had 3 single beds perfect for myself and 2 teenagers. The apartment has aircon, wifi and a mini kitchen, which we varely used as the restaurants around town served delicious affordable meals. The accommodation was very clean. The owners have created a beautful flower filled garden around the building that was a joy to see. Beds very comfortable as were the pillows. We could not have asked for a better holiday apartment and look forward to returning there. People in the town are so lovely and friendly which made the holidays even lovelier.

Really a great accommodation in Agios Gordios, there was nothing to complain about.

Nice comfortable room with AC, quite spacey balcony also with a mosquito net. Lots of toilet paper and also room service, what I didn't really count with at this type of accommodation and it was definitely a nice bonus. I have to recommend!

There was literally no downside of this accommodation. Even the internet connection was stable and plausibly fast.

Location of the apartments is superb: very close to the beach and main road of the village, but located in a side road so you don't hear any of the noise coming from the busy area of the village. The hosts were great and very friendly, always happy to help! The villa is beautiful and well maintained and clean: we had what we needed in the room, with a beautiful view to the garden and the occassional visit from cats :)

The shower space is quite small - me and my girlfriend did not have any major problems with it other than making a mess because the water was coming out of the shower, but I could see how this reduced space could be an issue for larger people or people with reduced mobility.

Villa Sofia has a wonderful location. Just steps away from the shops and restaurants. Beach is a 5 min walk and easy access. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment on the ground floor with the view of the beautiful gardens. It was clean and spacious with everything you need to prepare your meals. Both bedrooms had A/C units. Owners were kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Wifi signal was not the best. If you need to work remotely I recommend having a back up plan.

Apartment was very clean and had two bedrooms plus living room and kitchen area so lots of space to spread out. Super emplacement proche de la plage avec une place de parking pour la voiture de location. Jardin tres bien entretenu, gentillesse du personnel, climatisation et terrasse agréale belle vue. Petit village avec petits commerces pratique

Pas grans chose : la douche de la salle de bain pas tres pratique. Il manquerait peut etre un lave linge en commun car nous n’avons pas trouvé de laverie a proximité
