Maison de Haouret

The breakfast was excellent, everything was nicely prepared, and it was the perfect start of the day. The location was fantastic, peaceful and relaxing. It was an ideal base for exploring the area and experiencing the charm of France. The host was incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

We had an absolutely great stay at Maison de Haouret! It's even prettier than the pictures and the hosts are incredibly kind. We came to this region to wind down. Maison de Haouret is a perfect place to help you with that. The pool is clean, big and refreshing and there are great seating areas all around the house and the garden. The garden is beautiful and full of veggies and fruits. The breakfast always had something that came fresh out of the garden. The room was very spacious, clean and cozy. It was cool inside and the fan made it that we did not notice the heat outside. The guest kitchen was fully equipped, perfect to cook your own meals. The region is very calm. There is a supermarket and some restaurants on a 10 minute drive away. The Pyrenees are around a 2 hour drive and there are lots of cute towns around to visit. It is a great combination of relaxation around the house and fun day trips. The breakfast was very good and the dinner the hosts offered was absolutely delicious. We recommend you try it out once you are there! Lucia, James and Estelle are very helpfull, kind and fun people, who are the best hosts we have ever had. They were always down to help, advise, talk or let you have your space if wanted. Luna and the two kittens were a fun addition to our vacation, too. We really hope to return to this great place and we want to thank Lucia and James (and Estelle) once again for this great stay.

There was not always wifi reception in our room. Downstairs or outside the wifi was fine!

De accommodatie was een oase van rust. Ruime kamers en een fijn zwembad.

Hemos estado 5 noches en la Maison de Haouret y nos hubiera quedado todo el verano aquí. La casa tiene un encanto muy especial, las zonas comunes son ideales, las habitaciones espaciosas y la zona de la piscina está muy bien cuidada. Pero lo mejor de todo son James y Lucy son esos anfitriones que cualquiera querría encontrarse allí donde va. Ha sido un verdadero placer quedarnos unos días con ellos, los desayunos que preparan están cuidados y piensan en todo, se adaptaron a nuestras intolerancias perfectamente. La zona de Libaros es muy tranquila y tiene pueblos con mucho encanto para recorrer. Ha sido un placer coincidir ojalá podamos volver a hacerlo pronto.☺️
