About this villa rental
Quinta Ottilie is located in the Torre de Medronheira area of Albufeira within a short walk to the beach, bars, restaurants, cafes with nightlife being a twenty minute walk or short taxi ride. This large villa is ideal for families or large groups that are looking for a setting with excellent entertainment space.
The 14 bedroom recently built villa features stylish contemporary, kitchen, bathrooms, with attractive furniture furniture and accessories and can comfortably accommodate up to 34 guests
This is the ideal spot if you wish to relax and enjoy the sun, situated on a large plot there is plenty of room inside and outside for large groups to get the very best out of their holiday.
All bedrooms are air conditioned.
Property is in within easy reach of Albufeira town, & within a short walk to plenty of bars and restaurants. There is also a large supermarket approximately 5 minutes walk from the villa, and a beautiful beach approximately 10 minutes walk. The property is convenient for the best golf courses, & lovely restaurants. A wide range of sports facilities are available in Albufeira including golf courses, tennis and water sports.
As you enter Quinta Ottilie you are met with the wow factor of the airy double height ceiling with beautiful bubble chandelier and double sided staircases created so that the 1st floor can be seen and to maximise the social concept that we have tried to create when holidaying in the Algarve.
Upon entering Quinta Ottilie the beautiful and vast living / dining area opens up in front of you with access straight onto the huge sunny terrace with two fabulous pools beyond.
The villa is alarmed for your security and fitted with electric shutters in each room.
There are four spacious bedrooms on the ground floor; two on either side of the impressive entrance hall, six larger bedrooms all of which are en-suite on the 1st floor which feature either its own balcony or access to the huge terrace which runs along the full length of the villa and overlooks the pools., whilst the lower ground floor has a further four spacious en-suite bedrooms along with a games room with pool and table tennis tables for the energetic.
The bedrooms are configured as follows:
Ground floor left side
Bedroom 1: Features double bed & a single bed, bedside tables, fitted wardrobe and large window overlooking the lawn at the side of the house. This bedroom uses large shower room directly opposite.
Bedroom 2: Twin bedroom with fitted wardrobe, bedside tables and en-suite shower room. Window looks out onto front garden.
We have created these to be flexible where Bedroom 1 and 2 can be completely independent from one another or if guests prefer it can be created to make a suite ideal for families with children.

Bedroom 3: Large double bedroom with bedside tables & fitted wardrobe. This bedrooms shares the large full house bathroom directly opposite.
Bedroom 4: Twin bedroom with fitted wardrobe, bedside tables and en-suite shower room.

The Villa was superb. Location excellent with cheap rides into Albufeira. Jim as the host could not have asked for more support given to me. Would recommend both him and the Villa to anyone.

We were a family of 25 ranging from 2yrs old to 70.The house itself was not as well maintained as the pics. Both pools were dirty with the tiles inside looking like they had not been washed in sometime.Every person got cuts on their feet in 1 of the pools due to broken glass or a tile. The pool lights did not work in 1 of the pools. Only 1 outside deck light worked where we sat at night.There were no garbage bins so all bags were left outside for the cats to rummage thru at night. The garbage was picked up several days but as a large family we were concerned about having no where to place the garbage.We arrived on Friday and garbage was picked up Monday. There was no dish soap, dish cloths/ sponges or even a garbage bag so we could clean. We had to purchase all cleaning supplies down to these basics including hand soap. There were no house instructions that explained the light switches/ garbage routine and no communication regarding pool maintenance people arrivals and or people who came to use the garage. The wardrobes upstairs were broken and doors stuck in several rooms and would not open completely. The sewer smell in 3 of the bedrooms was pretty bad. One room in basement was so bad we could not sleep in it. Some of the bathrooms up stairs the drains were clogged and water was not draining which involved us using many towels to prevent flooding the bathroomsNone of the bedrooms on the 2nd floor had deck furniture as shown in the pictures.
