The perks like a free DVD, pool, & close to food spots are all plusses.
The issues I was concerned about was vehicular noise disturbs ones sleep. Didn't seem well insulated, so motorcycles & "boom box" limos sounded like they were just outside the room. Part of why I thought insulation was an issue was it wasn't hot yet in early May, yet the A/C was tiny for the room size. Had to keep the temp 9 degrees below outside temp just to not sweat.
$15 a nite for parking is ridiculous; thankfully I took a taxi in (one of which was refunded for overcharging same distance.)
Int'l food market, though, was 2 blocks away so quite close. Food was tasty.
Overall? I do Kaui & the big island instead. Oahu wasn't a great experience.
