About this house rental

Updated home in Biltmore South, less than one mile to the Biltmore house and a 5 minute drive to downtown. This 3/2 is tucked away on a dead end cul-de-sac, away from all the traffic but still close to everything! It has lofted deck space in the backyard for your morning coffee as well as a large lower deck with a 10ft outdoor dining table and a fire pit, which opens up to the basement that has been converted into a finished theater room complete with a 125" smart projector!

This home is completely furnished and ready to go with linens, essential kitchen/bath items, etc. There are three smart TV's (two of the bedrooms and the living room) with all available streaming services for you to sign in to (no cable service is provided). The smart projector screen downstairs is Wi-Fi equipped and connects directly to those same streaming services, and can also be wirelessly screen mirrored or connected to a gaming system with the supplied HDMI cable.

The home has a split floor plan with the master bed/bath on the south side of the house, with two guest rooms and the guest bath on the north side. Each room has a queen bed, closet space, and dresser!

The location was very close for Biltmore. Older neighborhood very quaint. As advertised. Only downside for us was no local TV stations for news and weather. Loved the morning coffee on the back deck. Would stay here again.

I was disappointed in the house It wasn't very clean. My sister and I had to sweep the floors and wash the counters. Also the light over the stove was out so it made it hard to see to cook. We didn't do anything downstairs cause it really needed cleaning. The shower was really good. The location was good which was a positive point.

Great location, very clean, kitchen well stock. Three real downfalls for our family, the steps from parking to the porch is step, tall steps. It is a risk of fall for an older person. The bathroom linens where a total of 6 towel sets total. For four people this required the purchase of linens or wash every day. Last is the living room, for four people to comfortably watch a movie someone had to sit at the kitchen table. It was a great place and yes I would rent it again. I will just be better prepared next time. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy home. Everything we needed was there...and it was a quiet neighborhood located close to everything we wanted to see and do in Ashville. Our dog felt very welcome too! And, the owner provided us with bird seed for the feeder...the squirrels were happy:)

This property was centrally located to everything and spacious. There were 4 of us and 2 dogs and we still had plenty of space. Kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, and dishes you might need also. Would definitely recommend!

The house was exceptionally clean & ideally located to EVERY PLACE we wanted to visit. All of the outdoor furniture really needs to be power washed and a banister of some sort should be installed on the steps leading from the road to the house ~ my friend took a tumble & rolled partially down the hill ~ 70 years old & thoroughly sober. She was FINE, thank God, but … Anyway, I highly recommend this property & when my husband and I choose to visit again, I hope this home is available. The Owner was reachable and sounds like a really nice guy!!!

We had a wonderful long weekend in Asheville. Outward appearance of the house could be improved but that uneasiness was set aside once inside. Very cozy space, nice kitchen and hardwood floors. Very nice for 3 couples or a family of 4 with plenty of room. Also a very good location centrally located to Biltmore, downtown area, the endless selection of breweries and hiking opportunities. Now, I really think the house could be much better with some improvements such as the very outdated furniture (especially that dining area table with only 3 chairs. Also, and this is a big one, please replace the bed in the master bedroom. That futon roll-up mattress is not at all comfortable and the bed is so noisy every time you make the slightest movement. Lastly, the steps coming down to house need updates. These things didn’t deter from the great time we had in Asheville but the improvements suggested would have enhanced our stay. I would come back again if these things were done.

Top place to stay. Comfortable beds. Perfect size rooms. Kitchen fully equipped. Host friendly and helpful. Loved it and would stay there again. Note: The host indicated this place is not handicapped accessible, and I would add seniors unsteady on their feet MAY find the few outside stairs down to the front door slightly challenging. The house is in a great location to explore downtown Asheville and Biltmore Village. It’s in a quiet and friendly neighborhood with the basics essentials you’ll need! Our group enjoyed the local restaurants and fire pit as well as all the exploring we did in Asheville!

The property is a nice residence. it was roomy . Appliance were acceptable. We were very close to the Biltmore Estates this place is amazing. the host of the property was very nice and was quick to reply when asked questions. My only complaint is the cleaners did not clean. The master bathroom had mold in the toilet bowl , it was really bad. The floor had not been mopped, My socks was black after walking on the floor. Finger prints was in the dust on the blinds, Cobwebs in the corners. I spoke to the owner, because I realized he needed to know. He appreciated the information. THIS IS A VERY NICE PROPERTY. COMFORTABLE . IT JUST NEEDED CLEANED. .

This is a great location for visiting Biltmore and Ashville in general. The only thing that was confusing is the TV situation, I did not realize that we needed multiple devises to use the multiple TV's. There is only access to the TV if you have a HDMI cable ready devise. We did not bring multiple laptops on the trip. It would be more convenient to have a Roku to use the television or a smart TV since there is WiFi at the locations.

This house could not be better located for exploring everything the Asheville area has to offer—we were just a few minutes from everything: Biltmore Village, West Asheville, the River Arts District, downtown, the WNC farmers market. . . . The house itself is adorable; it is clean and well equipped, and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is easy to use and easy to keep clean. The neighborhood is charming and diverse, and we found the people very friendly. I think anyone would enjoy staying there. We just loved at and were sorry to leave.

Very clean house in a prime location near Biltmore and downtown Asheville! Great outdoor spaces with fire pit. Our bed was very comfortable. We didn't utilize the basement as it was fairly musty.
