Little Corner at the Historic Jewish District with AC

One of the two nicest places I have ever stayed, in hundreds of journeys! First, the owner / manager was super fast with communication, instructions, etc. and very patient when I had questions. They were soooo fast, so helpful, and so kind. Location was exactly what anyone would want: close to Astoria Metro stop, yet around a few corners so it was perfectly quiet at night. Whatever you are looking to go and do or buy, you can find it here in this neighborhood, which is just a short walk to anywhere. Room was beautifully and lovingly designed by someone who wanted their guests to really feel "at home." Everything provided and nicely arranged. Nothing generic. I really felt like I was staying at "my new home" in Budapest. Being a studio there seemed a bit too much light at night, and a bit too little privacy, however.... a wonderful set of blackout curtains were provided that completely covered the bed area and created a romantic little bedroom when closed. How clever! Even with the bedstand lights on, it felt like I was in a separate, cozy bedroom. The rest of the flat was simply beautiful from beginning to end. Kitchenette area had everything you could need, for both cold preparation and cooking, if you wish. Bathroom was large and basic, but everything worked and the sink especially was really nice to use. Toilet clean and modern, shower worked great and was large and didn't leak water on the floor as many hotel showers do. Nice TV provided with dresser, closet and comfy couch and coffee table. Plenty of space to put clothes, laptop, whatever. Given the heatwave when I was there, but BEST part was the working AC that cooled the room in minutes, and ran quietly all night when needed. Wow, was that awesome! All I can say now, is that I wish more places made the effort that they did here, and I can't wait to stay there again on my next trip to Budapest.

Photos made it seem a little larger than it was, but I quickly adapted and the place was so beautifully laid out that you really feel super comfortable here.

The studio is located on the 3d fl. of the authentic building which is easy riched from public transport and the airport bus 100e. It is really cozy, good equipped, calm and very clean. The owner is one of the best I ever met. We are sincerely greatful for hospitality, care and so nice communication.
