Wariin cottage means wombat in Dja Dja Wurrung language. The owner's have an affinity with wombats and a respect for the traditional custodians of the land. Wariin cottage is circa 1900's, it is an old miners cottage!

Clare's cottage home was beautiful, we enjoyed our time there very much.

Our stay was very relaxing. Comfy beds and Hepburn Springs Park and bathouse at the end of the Street.Plenty of firewood but insufficient kindling and no axe to make some. On arrival, no milk to enjoy a cup of tea. This has never happened before with the many places we have stayed. I’ll know next time to ask. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

A haven within a haven! We had a the most wonderful stay at charming Wariin Cottage. The place was warm, cosy and spotlessly clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. We loved the styling of the cottage and the beautiful garden. The owner was communicative and friendly. Wariin Cottage is a perfect location for a quiet, luxurious Hepburn getaway – perfect in every way.
