About this house rental
This 4,300 sq ft retreat is nestled in the beautiful Green Mountains on 11 private forested acres, near 6 ski resorts. The home sleeps 8 adults and 6 children comfortably. The living room is huge with windows all around looking out into the woods. The chef's kitchen is large with high-end appliances and lots of room to cook with friends.
One of a kind luxury lodge with everything you would expect from a 5-star resort but with all the warmth and charm of a cabin in the woods. We spared no expense in creating the perfect Vermont getaway and giving our guests every creature comfort you could want while on vacation. The lodge has a ton of character and is quite unique
The house is completely sanitized before you arrive! We care about your safety.
We are known for our winter wonderland - Alpine/Nordic skiing, snowboarding, tubing, snowmobiling, and the very awesome - dog sledding! There is also Taylor Farm which is one of the few remaining dairy farms. You must try its award-winning Gouda cheese. In the winter they have horse-drawn carriage rides through the woods, very cool!
Vermont is absolutely picturesque. Romantic views of farm fields, streams, waterfalls, mountain passes, and covered bridges will leave you in awe (Nationally recognized as some of the most scenic drives in the US). Regardless of how you choose to spend your day, you'll find a variety of activities and attractions located conveniently nearby!
There is also much to do within the home itself. You can enjoy a movie night with the 11 foot home theater! Playstation 4 with games that you can play on the BIG screen with your friends. Or if you are so inclined there is a home gym with fitness equipment and a large open space for yoga.
Come sit in front of one of the two fireplaces with your favorite beverage and enjoy watching the snow come down. In the great room, there is a 90 inch TV, great for watching your favorite sporting event.
Electronic dartboard, shuffleboard, cards, board games, and puzzles are all there for your enjoyment. There is also a grill and outdoor seating if you want to cook outdoors next to a 6 person hot tub and 8 people outdoor sauna. After your meal sits next to the fire pit and roast marshmallows and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding forest.
The house has all of the space that your friends and family could want. Large open space for large gatherings and lots of smaller intimate spaces for time alone.

Great place to stay if you want privacy and a large home. All rooms were very clean. Hot tub was the cleanest I have encountered at any rental property. Fire pit was a great bonus. Highly recommended.

Forest Lodge was perfect!!! Our interactions with the owner were great, he was very responsive to our questions and made us feel welcome in his home. The house was immaculate, and was well stocked. The hot tub, fire pit, exercise room, sauna were so enjoyable! Would definitely stay at this home again.

My family and I (6 adults, 1 child) stayed at Forest Lodge over the Christmas holiday and everything exceeded our expectations! The owner, property manager, and accommodations were all amazing. The house has everything you could absolutely need - we cooked several dinners and the kitchen had it all! Every bathroom was well stocked - they even had tissue boxes in each room! The hot tub and sauna were perfectly well kept and so relaxing. The owner even put up a fresh Christmas tree for our family - it was above and beyond anything we anticipated! This has been our very best stay with a VRBO house and we hope to return soon! Thank you, Marc & Jason!

We were a group of 7 adults celebrating our 60th birthdays.
We cannot say enough good things about the property. Very spacious home with lots of living spaces, 2 of the bedrooms had en-suite bathrooms which was appreciated, high quality linens and towels throughout the house, even extra towels for the hot tub. The Hot tub was a big hit with our group and we used it everyday. The sauna was lovely as well. We all hung out at the enormous fire pit and listed to music with their Bluetooth speaker. Plenty of firewood provided. The kitchen is so well stocked with pans, dishes, spices, utensils, cutting boards, etc. there’s a gourmet espresso maker with freshly ground coffee beans. Plenty of tables and seating in the kitchen which is on the first floor. The second floor opens up to the great room with fireplace, large sofa and big screen TV. Massage chair was a hit too. Lots of natural sunlight, rustic decor with birch tree railings and tree stump table legs. There was a fireplace in the kitchen which was cozy and one in the great room. Lots of heating zones guests could control. There are 2 refrigerators which came in handy and plenty of coolers outside as well. Marc has thought of everything when creating this inviting home. We will be back as we ALL loved the place!
