About this house rental
We are located in the heart of Downtown Laurel, on the picturesque tree lined Euclid Ave. You’ll enjoy our newly renovated 800 square foot upstairs apartment located behind the main house. The perfect getaway for anyone wanting to be in the middle of the action of Downtown Laurel and HGTV's Home Town. Come stay with us and experience some true southern hospitality.
The space
Enjoy the charming vintage decor and original oak hardwood floors. You will rest easy in a king size bed with a brand-new Nectar mattress. There is a large television with Xfinity Cable, Free WiFi, and even a vintage Atari Game system for your use. The kitchen is equipped for your convenience. We even have some games, cards and puzzles for you during your down time. You will also enjoy our complimentary Coffee, Tea & Hot Chocolate station.

There is a one vehicle parking space located directly on the side of the building off the alley behind the main house. If you will be needing a second parking space, let us know ahead of time and we can make those arrangements for you.

Our hostess was wonderful. We’d had a full day and were ready to relax. I loved this stay for some very personal reasons. Most people might not understand. My home is 120 years old, with uneven floors, character galore, at every turn…and the friendly creaks of doors and floors are like whispers of old souls/clouds of witnesses watching over our days and nights like a comfortable wink of peaceful encouragement from another time. This place was like “home” for my wife, dog, and I. We slept very well and we wished we could have stayed longer. It reminded me of staying in my grandmothers Victorian home, as a little boy. The only thing missing, was the “tick -tock” of her old kitchen clock. The decor was elegant and thoughtful, with a nod to relaxation. It gave me the calm you get, after a tough day, when you take your boots off, put up your feet, and wiggle your toes. This property is meticulously maintained and has modern amenities, without losing a smidgeon of character. Oh my goodness Monique. Your VRBO won our hearts. I am not young, and I had my second hip replacement in August, but I took my time on the steps, and I was not threatened by them at all. They have anti-slip strips on them. The railings are strong and those beautiful worn steps are a wonder to me. I engaged them, thinking about the many feet which trod on them…who were they? What did they do? I want to encourage people to be a part of the experience. Fully take it in. Thanks Monique. Well done!
