Sequa Chic 2nd Floor Suite with shared rooftop

Location was good. Suite was a bit tired and required some work doing, Paint and plaster coming off walls due to damp. Sink in bathroom is cracked. Host didn't reply to our request as to where the local restaurant is that offers 10% discount to residents at Chic Suites for breakfast. It was quiet even though in the city centre. The aircon was most welcome as the temperature was very high.

Nothing it was all excellent

The location was central and very convenient, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was effective and quiet.

We found the property description misleading… from the photos we assumed tuat the terrace led from the bedroom but the terrace was shared with other residents and on a different floor. “The entire place is yours” only refers to the bedroom and small bathroom. The room was quite dark and shabby compared with the photos, which were obviously taken some time ago. The bedroom walls had peeling paint and some black mould, the terrace furniture was rusty and one chair broken. It wouldn’t take much for this property to be exceptional… a repaint of walls and refresh of the décor along with replacement of terrace furniture. A complimentary bottle of water or a couple of tea bags or coffee pods would be appreciated on arrival, and perhaps fresh towels after a few days. There were no drawers or wardrobe, just a hanging rail for clothes which was inconvenient as we stayed for a week.
