Access is not easy because it keeps kicking us out

Excellent location and very helpful staff

The bed and mattress was extremely uncomfortable. There are no curtains in the room except for a small see through linen curtain in the main window. The rest of the window is not curtained up so the moment it gets light in the morning, the room is filled with sunlight. This is a basic standard in any hotel to my knowledge.

Disappointing

Staff were all very friendly.

Coffee machine broke during my stay and was taken to be fixed, did not get another. AC only works in the living room so bedroom was very warm and very uncomfortable to sleep. Doors are not soundproofed, so you can hear neighbours slamming doors in the corridor. Need more basics like salt and pepper.

Location is great and apartment building is modern. Reception staff very very friendly.

The fridge was turned to its warmest setting and therefore didn't cool and some food went off in the summer heat. Providing some salt and pepper would be nice at this price point as most restaurants in Cape Town didn't provide with their food deliveries. Glassware, cutlery and crockery terrible for the price you pay.

It was in general a good stay.

The location is perfect, the general building is beautiful.

The rules that we are not allowed a visitor even though not sleeping over, the main bathroom shower door leaking water into the floor. The main bedroom window blind not working properly.

Great stay but tech and staff need improving

The accommodation was in good condition and the room was good quality for the price. However, Overall, the accommodation itself was comfortable and good value, but the room allocation and tech-based systems definitely need improvement to make the stay smoother.

the room we received was not the one we booked. We had booked a studio because we wanted an open floor plan and a usable balcony, but were instead given a one-bedroom apartment. Unfortunately, the balcony was extremely small — not even large enough to comfortably stand on. The new check-in system also caused some frustration. The check-in details were not sent through initially, which resulted in about a 20-minute delay and felt quite unorganised. Additionally, the facial recognition system for the lift did not work on the second day due to incorrect dates being loaded, meaning we had to re-register, which took another few minutes.

This was an excellent apartment. I loved the layout of the space. I thought it had a functional/good kitchen. The apartment building is in a very great location - 1 block from the Spar grocery. The bed was comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay here. Location is great and a short walk to the waterfront, places to eat and to the local spar. The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable and very clean. We really couldn't fault it. Would recommend

Decent place, terrible staff. Stay away.

The room is fine, the reception staff are terrible. They messed up my booking, they lied to me multiple times, and upon check out, the receptionist on duty tried to rob me.

The management company needs to get rid of all the reception staff. This is not my first time at this property, but it seems like this will be my last. Xolani was a decent human and tried to help, the rest of them are liars and clearly too wrapped up in work politics. The receptionist was refusing to give me any for of receipt for the cash I paid. I forced a call with the manager who wasn’t very helpful either, but said she’d send me an invoice once the new week started. Up until that point even receptionist was insisting that it was impossible for him to give me an invoice for a cash payment and that he would make a note that I paid.

You can never go wrong with booking this one!

I was met at the reception by a pleasant and kind fellow who assisted me with check-in quite quickly. The apartment was serviced as promised but what stole my heart the most was the thoughtfulness of providing team and coffee in the room. Sometimes that's all one needs after a long day - a decent cup of coffee, a clean room, hot shower and a comfortable bed. I was also impressed with the extent to which safety is prioritised in this facility.

Everthing on point and good.

Staff and reception were exceptionally helpful they helped us with everything we needed and wanted. Place was clean and tidy. Everything available from towels to blow dryer to pots glasses etc.

A pity about all the issues, as I would've gone back otherwise, but I WILL NOT!!!

I think the property is good value for money and the parking is very secure.

I had to make a R2000 holding deposit, which was not a holding deposit, and went straight off my account. It has now been 2 weeks and I have not been reimbursed. Is this even legal? Also, the patio wasn't exactly a patio and the door would close properly, so cold air came in and noise. There was an awful smell coming out of the shower and drains which was very off putting. And although there is a TV in the room there is nothing to watch unless you are subscribed to something.

There's a deposit of R2000 rand that one is expected pay upon arrival, to cover damages to the apartment. I was not informed of this and it came as a surprise to me. Didn't appreciate being ambushed as it were upon arriving at the apartment.

clean, big, secure and with nice service persons. but I was always outside whole day, so didn’t have much chance to stay in the apartment long.

the light outside the apartment is not on all the time but motion sensor which is energy saving and nice. However, for late night travelers like me, I don’t feel well and will worry someone may hide in the dark.

Absolutely perfect for my needs. Kind lovely people in reception, place always spotless.

Apartments are bright, spacious, well designed. Plenty of cupboard space, a big safe, and enough utensils in the kitchen.

There was no ice in the freezer, there should be an ice tray to allow for guests to have ice access (I did not see an ice machine on the floor outside)

Pathetic, no refund even thought we paid for 4 nights and only managed to stay for 8 hours

How we got evicted at 00:16 all for singing happy birthday for 14 seconds and apparently they got a noise complaint and couldn’t let us off with a warning and just chose to straight up kick us out into the rain with no remorse. And as tourists, where were we to go at that time of the night?

Good location Safe Helpful staff

First of all I didn’t get the room that I booked via booking.com with 2 single beds in the second bedroom therefore my two teenage boys have to share a bed. Secondly I couldn’t smoke on the balcony although there were pictures of an ashtray on the table outside on the patio and even travellers asked if smoking is allowed and the establishment said it is allowed to smoke on the balcony. Totally false and misleading information!! Please change this on booking.com for future guests. Shower was leaking water all over the floor. One bedside lamp was broken. Stovetop and dining room set seen better days. No aircons in the bedrooms and no WiFi in one bedroom. Totally unacceptable!
