Pietrefitte

We wanted to experience living in a trulli and this hotel provided just that while also enjoying modern amenities. It was tranquil with beautiful gardens. The location was a little remote but there were amenities nearby which could be reached by car. Breakfast was good and the host always made sure that he had fresh local cheese.

Nothing I didn't like.

We had the most wonderful time at Pietrefitte. The rooms were immaculately clean and very classy. It was so peaceful and relaxing, with the added bonus of a gorgeous pool, surrounded by olive trees. Breakfast was very tasty and served in a lovely setting. We hired bikes from the local village, Pascarosa, and explored the local area, which was great fun. There's also a lovely little pizza restaurant in this village, which I highly recommend. Marcantonio was a fabulous host, very friendly and gave us some good advise. Staying at Pietrefitte was the highlight of our 2 week holiday. I highly recommend and will certainly return.

There was nothing to dislike.

Our stay was amazing, with fantastic hosts! We loved exploring in the morning, coming back to pool relaxing and visiting with other guests and then heading out again later in the evening. Breakfast was delicious and we had all we needed for our four night stay.

The setting was beautiful- lovely pool and gardens. Good breakfast served in beautiful courtyard. Convenient location.

Our accommodation was in a (newly built) trullo. Traditional style but uncomfortable. No windows. Stone - so cold at night and heating ineffective. Bathroom not actually separate from bedroom. Toilet virtually over shower. It was not clear from website that we would be sleeping in a trullo. Not suitable for older guests. Limited guidance provided to local area - needs a printed handout for guests.
