Queen Palm Villa

The accommodation was beautiful, spacious and clean. It easily catered for a large family group without it being claustrophobic. The pool was ideal for what we needed, and the location was quiet.

It was a little too far from restaurants to walk so it was necessary to have a vehicle. It would have been nice to have had a couple more sun loungers, but that is being picky.

Me and my Wife, we spent one Month in this Fantastic Villa. Check-in, Check-out, Organizing a Scooter etc. were very easy and convenient. Whenever we had a question it was promptly answered in the Chat that was organized by Duncan and his Family. Simply awesome! The Villa was extremely quiet and I spent a lot of Evenings by just sitting outside and listening to the Sounds of Nature. Surprisingly there were almost no Mosquitos - even behind the house is a quite big Forest - and we have been there during Rain Season. The Bed was one of the best I have ever slept on and was very comfortable. Having access to a Washing Machine is a big plus and the Private Parking slot was really spacious. We used it a lot to let the clothes dry. If you have a Scooter (which is almost a must because the main road is around 1.5km away) you can reach everything in the Rawai / Nai Harn easily. There are quite a few very good Restaurants if you reach the main Road. (Thai Hut, Issan Classic, Sala Row etc.) I can definitely recommend it, especially for people seeking Silence.

I think the Villa needs a one day overall Clean Job as I guess it was not used much during Covid but from my side that's just minor. My wife is more picky on these things. I have been to Phuket 17 Times and it's very common that either the Pool Crew, Cleaning Lady, Gardener pops up unannounced. For me this is not a real Problem but I still would like to mention it - maybe it could be improved.

The location was good in terms of the area - had nice restaurants and cafes nearby- but not easy to walk around. However, the hosts are super helpful with booking cabs/taxis to wherever we want! The villa was very comfortable and spacious - perfect for large groups. The rooms are placed in a way where you can all gather in no time yet have enough privacy. We loved the villa overall!

Showers in the master/junior master didn't work too well - in terms of hot water and pressure, but we managed to use the other showers which worked well.
