The historic Chapel Schoolhouse in Minffordd welcomes you to tastefully renovated luxury with 5 double/twin en-suite rooms, large lounge with woodburner and panoramic views towards Snowdon, and an open plan kitchen with range cooker and breakfast bar. Stepping out onto the paved terrace you can enjoy a Cedarwood Hot Tub, BBQ, picnic table, outdoor chess & Chimenea. The property has underfloor heating, off-road parking for 5 cars and is 10 minutes walk to the Italianate village of Portmeirion, the Ffestiniog Railway and local Beaches. The towns of Porthmadog and Penrhyndeudraeth are close by and the Cob causeway with its amazing sea & mountain views 10 minutes walk. We were so lucky to spend several wonderful days in this gorgeous house. We stayed as three families, and everyone felt completely comfortable and at home. The house is bright, spacious, and cosy, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need—and even more.We cooked every day in the well-equipped kitchen, gathered together for family dinners around the large table, and enjoyed lovely evenings by the fireplace. Every bedroom has its own en-suite, which is extremely convenient. There is also a downstairs toilet and a utility room.The hot tub was a fantastic extra and added even more fun to our stay! The surrounding area is beautiful, with lovely beaches and plenty of walking and hiking trails to explore.The hosts were incredibly friendly, always ready to help and quick to resolve any issues. Overall, we had an amazing stay at the Chapel and would be more than happy to return. Thank you so much, Adrian and Iain!

Absolutely stunning property! We stayed for 4 nights for a first full family holiday ranging from 16 months to 90 years old! All family members loved it. Rooms were spacious and clean. It’s hard trying to find a place to stay that can cater for all ages, from a travel cot to hot tub, to disabled access and accessibility bathroom. This place had it all. Location was great with portmeirion across the road and Porthmadog a short drive away.
