Private deep-water dock at the water's edge, large enough for multiple watercraft. We've had extensive dredging done at the dock to maintain deep water access for our guests. Guests are welcome to bring boats and jet skis — Lake Norman has no horsepower restrictions, so it's a perfect lake for water skis, wakeboards, and extreme watersports.
Guest Access:
Guests have exclusive access to the entire Blue Bayou property, including the main house, all bedrooms and bathrooms, the movie theater, game room, private swimming pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen, bonfire pit, and private deep-water dock. Check-in is handled by a secure E-lock code sent before your arrival — no key handoff, no waiting around.
We kindly ask guests to respect our good neighbor policy and observe quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. for nearby residents.

We really enjoyed our stay. It’s a beautiful, well stocked home in a wonderful, quiet location. That being said, there were a few issues that I let the property manager know about in the hopes they can fix them.1. The water pressure is very low, especially on the top floor. Made showers difficult.2.. WiFi signal was poor throughout the house. Since there’s little to no cellular service either, we struggled to get directions to go anywhere or send messages. We had to drive out of the neighborhood to get any type of service.3. The grill needs servicing or a deep cleaning inside. There’s absolutely no heat control at the moment. When lit, the flames are very high and everything burns, even when the temp is on low.4. The dryer had to be run multiple times to dry clothes. The removable vent is clean so my guess is that it’s clogged somewhere deeper in the vent.

This property is amazing providing a deluxe kitchen, lake access, pool, hot tub, movie theater, game room, large gathering room down stairs and 7 beautifully appointed bedroom. The host, Ranata, is knowledgeable and responsive. Super experience!

We were in town for a family (my wife has 6 sisters) wedding. The house was exactly as advertised and was perfect for our large group. Support from the property manager was also excellent. They allowed us to check in early when the bride decided to change the start time for the first event. During our stay we then experienced a couple of minor issues (we tripped a breaker) that we had to call-in. Renata responded within minutes and got us taken care of. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice house, plenty of sleep space, decent distractions for kids and sufficient pots/pans and utensils for cooking. Hot tub was super nice to have. Wi-Fi was absolutely terrible so if you rely on that, forget it. It really was frustrating not being able to connect as cell service in that area is hit or miss. No instructions for fireplace left us in the proverbial cold until we figured it out - but then the smell of gas was actually worse than being cold. Good thing there are different heating/cooling zones throughout, except second master bedroom is right above loudly humming a/c unit. House description should have included that it is a very, very steep descent to the dock and firepit...our 80 year old parents were disappointed not to be able to get to the water or firepit on their own. Had I known, we probably would have gone elsewhere.
