Excellent location and safety in Rio

Great facilities that feel very safe in the center of Rio. Loved having access to a rooftop bar and pool. The breakfast was great and plenty of options

Perfect stay

Amazing breakfast, they had something different every day. Room was comfortable and big. The location was very close to Ipanema and a few minutes walk to Copacabana.

This is a separate building from the hotel. Service does not come everyday (or they forget to wash dishes). Apartment does not have windows (it has windows facing the well of the building and the wall). Felt a little like in sarcophagi. Breakfast was good, but healthy varieties are very limited (a lot of pies, sweets, but very less curd or yogurt or veggies).

good location, nice breakfast but great value for money

location is great! the breakfast is also very good, not a huge variety but everything they offered was great quality. the room had enough space for two of us to work comfortably and the wifi was sufficient for our needs (cut out a couple of times but no big deal). very quiet at night time and has working air conditioning. the kitchen is well equipped although we didn’t use anything. some of the reception staff are very nice and accommodating and they allowed us to store our bags before our check in and after our check out.

the room was extremely dark as it faces into the interior patio on the ground floor (which is not pleasant to look at). some small water bottles and coffee were provided in the room, we weren’t notified (by the personnel or in any sign in the room) that they charge for these and at the end we were charged an additional 10€ for 4 small waters and 2 coffees. on arrival, there seemed to be an issue with Apple Pay and my credit card didn’t work, the man who “helped” us was extremely inflexible and quite rude. after being there a few days I realized the issue was because he selected the wrong method of payment on the card reader (debit and credit can often be reversed to what we know).

Loud Construction Ruined Our Vacation!

Everything about the suites were just okay, but during the busiest weeks of the year for Rio, construction within the building began at 9am and didn’t finish until 7pm EVERY DAY! There’s no sleeping in or naps on this vacation. Management could care less, even after addressing it on several occasions, they simply said that’s there’s nothing they can do about it. Truly awful experience.

location is great

the suites are part of the hotel Arena but the hotel doesn’t service the suite, the quality of the linens is very regular, they charge for the water bottles (water is not drinkable in Brazil) and coffee in the room, the staff at the reception is rude and doesn’t know anything, or perhaps they don’t want to be helpful.

Amazing breakfast and amazing terrace and pool. All staff is very attentive, kind and nice. - very difficult to see it nowadays

the apartment was missing some cooking appliances or there wasn’t salt or oil/vinegar e.g - the usual supplies you find in rental apartments. however i didn’t plan to cook so I am not sure if they supply once requested.

Nice modern apartment, however not worth the money you pay per night, you can get better apartment on Airbnb for half of the price

Good

Anna Suites was situated in next building of Arena hotel and breakfast was in Arena hotel. They had very good fresh fruit selection: watermelon, melon, papaya, mango, Usual English breakfast stuff like scrambled eggs, sausages but additional 4 different salty pies every morning. Also plenty of sweet option to choose from. Only thing I did miss was fresh salads, tomato, cucumber etc. In general tasty and filling so could skip they lunch with ease. Location was good between Copacabana and Ipanema beach , both only few minutes walk away.

Wifi was not working and that is a big downside. Could of been better instructions concerning how the check in should be done, wasted a 20 minutes talking to somebody on the speakerphone at door but finally I was instructed to go and check in in the Arena hotel next door. So Anna's apartments guest should check in and out in Arena hotel.

The location was great.

The number (address) mentioned was misleading. We had to check in through a parallel hotel. The room was located in the ground flower w/o without windows to outside. By the end they tried to charge items we didn’t consume.

location and views were amazing.

Upon arrival we found out that builders were in the next room and work was going on from 7am til 7pm everyday. Noise was unbearable and so was the mess. The room also had no privacy and we were looking at builders all day. Also on our first trip to the pool the bar staff attempted to overcharge us for extra beer which wasn’t great !
