This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo has a prime location just steps from the Kolea Beach Club and Anaehoomalu Bay. Kolea 6D offers convenience and ease of access to a large 3 bedroom home. It is extremely special as it is merely steps away from the Kolea Beach Club, Pool and Spa and Anaehoomalu Bay. Also nearby within minutes by foot you will find shopping and dining at the Waikoloa Kings Shops and the Queens Marketplace. These open air shopping establishments also host local entertainment and holiday events great for a romantic evening or for the whole family!
The Great Room opens up large mahogany pocket lanai doors to the impeccably landscaped garden. The lanai has a built in Viking barbecue grill and mini refrigerator. The lanai is furnished with both an outdoor seating area as well as a table and chairs for outdoor dining.
Each bedroom has its own full bathroom. The master suite not only has ocean views, but has it's own private lanai door. The master bathroom leads to a spacious walk in closet. There are dual vanity sinks, a walk in shower and a deep soaking tub with a romantic window that can open up towards the king size bed in the master bedroom. As with the entire home, the African mahogany woodwork and classical travertine stone travel throughout to add elegance and distinction.
There are two guest suites. The guest suite with the twin beds has a private bath with a travertine walk in shower. The second suite has a king bed, a private lanai door, and a central bathroom with a tub/shower. All bedrooms have their own televisions.
The fully stocked kitchen is enhanced with a pendant lights over granite island. Built in stainless steel appliances include a KitchenAid side by side refrigerator/freezer, microwave, stove top and oven. The dining table is situated closest to the glass lanai doors, and bar stools provide additional seating for a more casual dining atmosphere.
The great room has a large television with a chaise sofa and arm chairs. The lanai pocket doors can be nicely tucked into the wall to reveal an open and seamless transition to the tropical island breeze.
The laundry room is equipped with a full size washer, full size dryer and sink. Wireless internet, local phone service and central air conditioning are included.
Kolea guests enjoy the use of the Kolea Beach Club which has a pool, spa, exercise hale and keiki pond complete with a waterfall and sandy bottom. Kolea is the only resort in Waikoloa which has direct beach access to grand Anaeho’omalu Bay. A short walk to this sandy beach and you will find activities such as snorkeling, glass bottom boat tours, paddle boarding and whale watch cruises.
The Waikoloa Beach Marriott is immediately south of Kolea and the Hilton Waikoloa Village is north of Kolea. Both hotels offer dining, spa treatments or luaus. The Hilton is also home to Dolphin Quest.
Recent construction on the previously vacant grassy lot has resulted in loss of our beautiful ocean view from the condo. However we remain conveniently located just steps away from the building to enjoy the pool and beach.

We loved the space and location of this condo with convenience to walk to the pool and beach and even the shops and restaurants. Unfortunately there is a new home being constructed and there is no longer this beautiful view of the water. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need and the property manager was very responsive. Great stay in Kona.

We had six adults, and the condo was the perfect size for our group. It’s in a fantastic location, within easy walking distance to the market, shops, and restaurants. The pool facility was just steps away and offered a stunning view, with the beach located just beyond it.The property was well stocked, and we especially appreciated having beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, and a couple of snorkel sets available. For those traveling with children, there was also a wagon and sand toys. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the lanai and made good use of the BBQ. Located on the bottom floor with direct access to a beautiful lawn was also a bonus.Wendee was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay. While the view of the water is currently partially obstructed by a fence and nearby construction, it didn’t impact our experience. The gym on-site is small and limited to cardio equipment, with no weights available.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return!

My wife and I have been coming to the Big Island for many years. We have stayed in the Kolea enclave many times before. We really like this locations proximity to the beach, shopping and dining. The condos are super nice and have always been very comfortable for us. 6D was no exception. Thank you for another’s terrific visit.
