Newly converted fresh, airy hideaway near Whitby

A fantastic place to stay, great to have parking and outside space. Clive and Sarena have supplied everything you need for your stay including maps for walks and directions which we found useful. We were very thankful for the biscuits, tea, coffee and milk etc when we arrived. Their local knowledge and recommendations of places to visit were gratefully received. It's definitely somewhere we'd love to return to.

This is a lovely little self contained holiday apartment located within / at the rear of the owners home which is very useful as they are very attentive & helpful in making your stay a very pleasant one. The hosts are charming and we spoke to Sarena quite a bit during our 3 nights there, she was so knowledgeable about the surrounding area & even took the trouble to draw maps and directions for walks nearby that we intended on doing. This accommodation is located a stones throw from Whitby and surrounding areas. The check in process is easy with a key safe on the wall & dedicated parking, plus plenty of free on road parking if you have more than one vehicle. Hosts Sarena & Clive have made this place so welcoming and have provided complimentary tea & coffee, fresh milk in the fridge, and fresh biscuits from the local bakery in the village. It is spotlessly clean throughout, decorated & finished to a very high standard with everything you could ever need. It is so cosy & quiet to relax and have a great nights sleep. This is such a lovely place to stay and we will definitely be returning here when we are visiting Whitby again. This place is a credit to the owners, thank you Sarena.

The Hideout had everything we needed for a short break, it was comfortable, warm, light and airy, well equipped and enough storage space for our belongings too.

We were made to feel so welcome by Clive and Sarena. The check in process was easy, and the facilities were perfect. There was plenty to do in the local area, with the centre of Whitby only being a 5-10 minute drive down the road. The information in the welcome guide was super helpful and gave us ideas of more places to visit. The local area was really nice with plenty of places to walk to. We really enjoyed and would definitely recommend. We would love to stay again.

We have just returned from a much needed, relaxing stay at The Hideaway. The apartment is spacious, spotless, practical and homely. It's has everything you could possibly need. The information in the welcome packs is amazing. It covers everything you need to know. And is complete with recommended local attractions and walks. The communication during the booking process, pre arrival, checking in/out and during our stay was professional and friendly. We would definitely recommend this place for a lovely, quiet break.

A tasteful comfortable studio with everything we needed for our 4 night stay in this area. South facing private patio. Tea & coffee on our arrival with some local biscuits were much appreciated.The hosts were delightful.
