About this house rental
Three Winds is a modern beach home in Aquinnah, Martha's Vineyard; The island's westernmost point. The house sits on windswept rolling terrain, overlooking the Vineyard Sound and the Elizabeth Islands. Nestled into three-and-a-half acres, it's the perfect place to escape, unwind, and relax in privacy.
This architect-designed one-story vacation home has a unique camp-style layout. It's comprised of three separate buildings with pathways between them.
Building one is a beautiful primary bedroom and bath with a walk-in closet.
Building two includes a combined living/dining room, kitchen, and half bath with a wall of sliding glass doors.
Building three has two bedrooms, a full bath, and a private outdoor shower attached. There is an EV charger plug in the driveway.
Building two also has a spectacular roof deck with a large comfortable couch, lounge chairs, and a dining table that seats six. It's a remarkable vantage point from which to view the Vineyard Sound, the Elizabeth Islands, and beautiful sunsets.
There is access to a gorgeous, secluded beach on the Sound, the Outermost Inn restaurant, and the Aquinnah Shops, all within walking distance. The house also has access to Philbin Beach on the Atlantic side, which is great for swimming and surfing, and is only a walk or bike ride away.

We spent a fabulous two weeks at this beautiful property. The beach is a short walk (or several others within brief drive), the cliffs and shops are nearby, and the roof deck offers fantastic views. This was a perfect place for our family to enjoy an up-island getaway. The central building offers a large, modern, and well-appointed gathering, cooking, and eating space. The two separate sleeping areas worked perfectly for our group—both spaces felt welcoming and luxurious. Parents/kids shared one building comfortably while grandparents relaxed in their own suite. The hosts also provide—literally—everything you could need to enjoy your stay (high quality beach chairs, towels, cooler, portable Bluetooth speaker, etc.). AC units and ceiling fans keep everyone cool and comfortable in each space. Anyone thinking of booking here should not hesitate (unless it is for weeks we are hoping to return)!

The property was as advertised with all new amenities. Lovely roof deck and close to the beach. The set up of the house gave everyone privacy in addition to a large central area for group activities. We will definitely return.
