Private retreat minutes from GW P/way, DC, airport

Fantastic host, kind, accommodating and helpful. This is not your typical VRBO. It is stocked as if a family moved out the moment before you moved in. Everything you need to cook 3 full meals a day is available, as well as toys and games for the kids. The cleaning staff is really impeccable. This home has lots of decor and accepts pets (we did not have a pet), but we did not see a speck of dust or dog hair anywhere, outstanding.

The home and property were so serene, I loved sitting by the huge windows and watching the world outside. The home was tucked away but also so close to many attractions. We all truly enjoyed ourselves.

Very comfy home … fantastic setting with great views outside living room picture window … fireplace roars and natural setting (on 10acres!) is amazing considering it is in the middle of a high end residential neighborhood .. convenient … owner told us in advance hot water was out- was ok with us - and offered partial refund which we are sure is on the way — great for families and pets !!

We spent 3 weeks quarantining in preparation for the arrival of our first grandchild and we could not have been more pleased with the accommodations. The home is a little older but with tremendous character and comfort. Huge picture windows in the main living area look out over an idyllic forested area with a creek running below. Beautiful - and great wildlife sightings. Great hiking too. Although the home is centrally located in a major metropolitan area, it was like having our own private retreat. Nearby houses were mostly hidden by surrounding trees. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you could possibly need. The living room has comfortable furnishings, the bedrooms were large and beds very comfortable. The master bedroom and one other bedroom have en-suite baths. And another full bath is downstairs. Cam was an outstanding host. He went over everything with us and left a great guide to the house and to surrounding shops/restaurants/sights. He frequently checked in by text to make sure everything was fine. He responded quickly to the few questions we had. He is a super-super host in our minds. Cam’s home is a fantastic place to stay. We highly recommend it and we definitely will be staying there again in the future.
