Did not have the hotel provided breakfast. The room was large, very clean, quiet, and comfortable.
We would have liked to have a full breakfast.

The Maverick Hotel is directly across the street from the U of O campus. We were in Eugene for a college visit with our daughter, so the location could not be better. There was clearly a renovation sometime recently, and they did a great job. Breakfast exceeded our expectations. We were expecting packaged grab-and-go items, but there were hot and heatable options as well. Track Town Pizza next door was a bonus!
The rooms were in a separate building from check-in, which was not ideal with our late, very rainy arrival. Also, while the location is great, the road in front of the hotel stays rather busy--even without any events going on.

rooms were large and spacious. everything you need for a stay is there.
There's a sign in the lobby about the parking lot and the hotel not responsible for cars parked there. My car was rifled through sometime during the night and things taken - While this is absolutely not on the hotel, per se, more the idiot who broke into the car but a word of caution to anyone staying there. I travel often and drive almost everywhere so I try to be cautious on how and where I stay - and am familiar with the chances of vandalism/thefts in the parking lots but for this hotel there won't be a second stay, that is for sure.
