It was a pleasant stay in a comfortable room for us and our pup.

The room was very clean and felt very private. The staff was cordial and helpful. The rates were reasonable. Our room was pet friendly, and there was a pet area outside as well.

A few small things were missing, like a pen, for instance, and perhaps an extra blanket. Nothing major at all.

The Hotel charged 5%, $138.16 hold for incidentals upon check-in and Still have not returned.

We went to watch a football game in Autzen stadium so the location was convenient to walk to the stadium and that is the only thing going well for them.

I was not informed of any 5% deposit after the charge from Booking.com so they are still holding the 5%. A woman checked us in late night, she said that there will be a hold of 5% but it's just a hold for incidental. She said it will be returned when we check out on Sunday. On Sunday a young man checked me out and reconfirmed that the deposit will be returned in few days. I called on Tuesday after we came home and no refund of the 5% on my credit card. I called today, 10/19/25. The young man answered and he has nothing to do with returning the 5% hold. There are other issues. bedsheets were not changed from previous guests. I asked for the bedsheets to be changed but instead the woman at the desk brought a set of sheets and told me to change it. So, we called the desk she said it's too late tonight but maid will change them in the morning. On Saturday, we came back from the game and walked in to our room and see the bed was left not changed, and left a set of sheets again so we had to change the sheets again.

Great Location Comfortable Stay in Cute Boutique Hotel

Great Location if you're staying there for any UofO stuff. Right next door to a Starbucks and a couple good restaurants also across the street from the market. You can easily stay here without a car and just use uber when you need to. Rooms are cute but it doesn't take a lot of money to do some paint touch ups here and there and would make a big difference. The bed was super comfy and the staff is very nice. They have a great breakfast and coffee in the morning too! I would stay here again for sure.

Good place not far from city center

The property was conveniently located 5 min away from city center with easy access to highway. Several eateries and Starbucks nearby make staying very comfortable. The rooms are large with modern amenities and recent renovation. Lots of towels, 4 large pillows, very comfortable bed, coffee machine and large TV.

WiFi did not work, the room was recently painted and still smelled of paint.

We were there to move my granddaughter out of her dorm room, we would probably stay there again!

We thought the breakfast items were exceptional, the variety was great! The staff was very friendly! If we had time at night we would of gone for the smores kit they offered! The room was nice & quiet!

The fan seemed to work but it was so loud, we couldn't turn it off fast enough! We were looking for a ice bucket in the room, but then we didn't even see a ice machine, & forgot to ask if there was one 🤔

overrated

I had requested a ground floor room instead got one on the 3rd floor. was told there was a cart by elevator that would help move things to my room. was NOT told the front entrance had steps and therefore was unusable. staff was dismissive and not at all helpful. breakfast was fine. no place too hang towels in room.

It was good, considering the unwanted door knocker.

It was a convenient location and the room was clean. It was relatively quiet.

We checked in around 9 pm and noticed a woman peeking in any rooms with the curtains opened or cracked and knocking on each door. We got to our room and she knocked on her door. We did not open the door and my husband asked to to away & she did. I called the front desk to report her. The clerk did walk around to check it out and she was already gone.

Great place and would happily return

Location was perfect for me. Breakfast and coffee were exceptional. I loved the outdoor seating area and general decor of the motel. Bed was very comfortable.

A great location with great staff

Loved the hostess, and the place was very welcoming. Enjoyed the breakfast and the fact that the coffee was as good as Starbucks-which was right next door.

The pillows are too hard and thick for us. We often like softer pillows.

Location is great-- I run the trails by the river. The rooms are new and cool. The value is great. They are good to my hound. And the breakfast service offers many options. The Maverick Hotel is doing it right. This is a good place!

Convenient location for show at the arena. Nice room with comfortable beds. Breakfast was one of the best I've had, lots of choices available. Very friendly staff.

The Maverick’s best feature is its location but it could use some upgrade to improve the stay.

Location!! If you are visiting to tour the school or see a basketball game at UO, this is a perfect location.

There are so many small changes that could be done to make the stay more enjoyable. Our room had NO hooks or towel bars anywhere, including the bathroom, to hang wet towels, wet raincoats, etc., The bathroom is tiny, and there is no mirror in the main room so that people can be getting ready while the other is using sink/toilet/shower. The lighting is very dim in the room, and there is no sheer curtain, so you either have to close the black out curtains, and then you’re in a dark cave or open the curtains and you are visible to the entire parking lot and everyone who passes by. (particularly where our room was located on the first floor near the lobby where there’s lots of foot and car traffic. Fish bowl!!) So… brighter lamps, sheer curtains, mirror in room, and tons of hooks. Such cheap easy fix and it would make a HUGE difference.

Clean and comfortable. We were in town to watch a basketball game so location was perfect, right across the street from the stadium. Had a great night sleep - bed very comfy!
