About this villa rental
Villa Odo is located in Lajares and never fails to impress guests with modern architecture and large amounts of space for the whole family.

In the villa’s open-plan living area, your attention will immediately be drawn to the large windows, creating a bright atmosphere and merging fantastically with the terrace. As well as a fully equipped kitchen, there is also a dining area and a large sofa area for relaxing to the full.
The villa has two double bedrooms, and one of them has an en-suite bathroom. A further bedroom contains two single beds, and all bedrooms have direct access to the terrace surrounding the villa and air condition. There is also a second bathroom with a shower.
In front of the living area, there is a covered terrace with dining area and lounge where you can really unwind! Next to the terrace, there is a small barbecue area which is perfect for a grill night together.
Behind the terrace, a small staircase and path each lead to the pool area. This is protected and sheltered from the wind in the lower area of the garden. The heated pool is perfect for a refreshing dip all year round, and the many loungers, outside bed, hammock and sun loungers make this an oasis of relaxation.
Lajares is a small, idyllic, quiet town in the north of the island. There is a supermarket, a few bars, restaurants, surf shops and a pharmacy. Because of its central location, you can easily get to many beaches and the capital, Puerto del Rosario, in around 15-20 minutes.

The villa itself is lovely, the pool and outside garden area is simply stunning and the heated pool is a welcome bonus. It would be difficult to criticise the villa itself.
You are located a few minutes drive outside of Lajares, which is a friendly, creative community that has some quality places to eat and drink as well as the local supermarket and bakeries. You will need a car though as there is only one bar within walking distance.
The only gripe we had was with the servicing. We finally arrived after a long day of travelling at 2100hrs on a Sunday, no supermarkets open and there wasn't even a 1 euro bottle of water in the property. All other villas we've stayed in have a little welcome pack, here there is nothing. No water, no welcome wine, no local produce. Nothing. There was also no bedding or laundry change despite us staying for 2 weeks and the shower/soap gets used up after 2 uses with no further replacement. The pool and garden is well looked with regular cleaning and watering but it seems that the guests are secondary and slightly overlooked.
Despite this, we did enjoy our stay and we loved the community feel of Lajares itself.
