Hale Vista is the perfect place to bring your family together. This Ohana has many places for your family to escape to and have a bit privacy, or spend time together and enjoy the beauty of Maui from the spacious upstairs lanai that overlooks the private swimming pool, hot tub, and Ka'anapali Resort.
Hale Vista is a lovely and spacious two-story home with most of its living area on the entry level which is upstairs, so you will not be climbing stairs to enter the house. There is an amazing open living space with ample seating for family gatherings and a large TV to enjoy movies and games with your family. The living room flows straight into the gourmet kitchen that is fully equipped with everything that you need to whip up amazing dinners or just enjoy conversation around the beautiful bar area.
Walk straight out of the living room on to the lanai. The lanai has ample seating for you to enjoy conversation and a sunset cocktail or hang out as you play a game of ping pong. There is a gas BBQ grill and seating for 8 at the dining table on the lanai as well. Down the lanai stairs, you have a refreshing outdoor swimming pool and hot tub with lovely tropical garden views. There are sun loungers, a dining table, umbrellas, and an outdoor pool shower. Enjoy the lush tropical setting as you soak up the Maui sun all from the comfort of Hale Vista.
If it is privacy that you are looking for, the downstairs bedroom is its own Mini-Suite complete with its own private entrance, seating area, king bed, two additional twin beds, and a small refrigerator.

This house is perfect and the location is the best! We were traveling with our adult children, their significant others and our sweet granddaughter. The house has two master suites and two guest bedrooms, which were perfect for our group. The location cannot be beat! Each morning we walked to whalers village and got amazing coffees at island vintage coffee shop. The house is fully stocked with all necessities and many extras. There is a deck box filled with chairs and a cooler is provided. Plenty of beach towels, a fully stocked and functional kitchen and comfortable beds all within a safe neighborhood made this house feel like our home! The furnished deck and backyard to include a pool and hot tub were utilized by our group each day. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this home and plan to book it next year!

Lovely house that fit our needs very well. Well-stocked kitchen the with so much space. Great outdoor area with plenty of chairs around the pool and hot tub and on the lanai. Very private feeling with surrounding fence and foliage. The whole family had a great time. We didn't realize that the bedroom downstairs did not connect inside the house, but was accessed by going outside and down the stairs to the pool area. It worked for our adult children, but families might want to be aware.

Pros: It's a great house in a nice neighborhood, located across the street from the golf course, beach and resorts. The house was tastefully decorated and there were some nice amenities.
Cons: Too many rules and restrictions! Can't use the pool or hot tub after 9pm. Can't bring anyone to the house that are not registered guests. Can't have more than 3 cars. Can't park on the street. No early check-ins or late check-outs. If you do this or don't do that, you'll be fined or kicked out without a refund.
It was stressful trying to follow all of the rules. My family and I went there to celebrate my 50th birthday, but we didn't feel like we could truly have fun. We had to meet people elsewhere because we couldn't have them come and BBQ with us at the house. We are responsible, mature adults but felt like kids in a classroom. I understand the need for some of the rules for safety, respect for residents, and protection of property, but with a pandemic, a house is safer to gather than a public area. We didn't have a choice and couldn't thoroughly enjoy the house that paid to stay in. Plus...
-Master bedroom did not have it own bathroom - it's shared
-Ceiling fan in the living did not operate correctly
-Temperature controls in showers were the opposite (hot is cold and cold is hot - learned the hard way!)
-Fridge ice maker was not working
-Lights turned on/off sporadically (not the sensored ones)
-Cameras made people feel "watched" and uncomfortable
-TV remotes were not working properly, even after we changed out the batteries
