Perfect place for a quick weekend away with my daughters. The cabin is very sweet and cozy, plenty of games, puzzles, legos to keep the kids entertained on a snowy day. Fun backyard to play in the snow and super close to Donner ski ranch and Truckee. We will definitely be back for another stay. Maybe next time in the summer

This was our 2nd time staying at this amazing property. Britta was a fantastic host once again with exceptional communication. The cabin had everything we needed and more. The location along Donner creek is peaceful and serene. Being able to sit in the hottub after a full day on the slopes is a real plus. We will stay here again for sure!

We really enjoyed our time in the cabin and we hope to come back for a longer stay later this year. The cabin was a perfect size for us and was filled with sunlight through all the windows. The location is fantastic in a quiet neighborhood and right next to a beautiful creek. It was very clean and had pretty much everything you would need to cook a meal.

This was a perfect winter cabin for our family of four. There is a bathroom and shower on both levels, washer and dryer, and enough pots and pans to prepare simple meals. Plenty of towels, kitchen and bath tissues. Large outdoor deck and nice views from every window. Wifi is fine for work and streaming. Host is very responsive over text. Neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. DSR and Sugar Bowl are less than 15 minutes away. We really enjoyed our stay here and look forward to visiting again.

The Cabin was everything VRBO had listed, and the owners were always available for any questions we had. A super quiet neighborhood less than a half mile from Donner Lake with hiking trails all around. Couldn’t have enjoyed a better weekend anywhere else. Can’t wait to come back!

This was a great cabin retreat in Donner. We enjoyed all the amenities and location - morning hikes and exploring, meals at many of the great restaurants nearby, hot tub soaks, card and board games, movies on Netflix. We got married on Donner Lake and this was the perfect cabin for us!

Wonderful place for a family with young kids. By the boulders and the creekside, probably the best lot in a lovely, easily accessible little neighborhood. Clean, well-stocked home, with a blazing wood stove! And the hot tub! Not fancy or fussy, but if that's not a requirement, just perfect. We wished we stayed longer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin. It is located on a nice piece of property that borders a small creek, with plenty of places to explore, and nice sledding runs (sleds included). Hot tub was a hit, and was a great way to unwind after a full day of playing in the snow. Indoors there was plenty of fun to be had, the owners have a nice selection of board games, an acoustic guitar, and even a visitor journal where you can describe your stay, and read about other visitor's experiences. The owners were very responsive and gave plenty of information about various features of the cabin. This cabin is great in the winter, but I think it would be just as fun in the summer. We will definitely be back!

We rented this cabin to ski at Sugar Bowl, which had some bad weather that cut our days short. The cabin is so fun on its own, with a hot tub, internet, games and a wonderful backyard with giant granite boulders we made into mini sledding hills. The creek was running high since we had melting snow and was very pretty. Great beds and heating. A few minor cooking items missing we could work around. We need to come in summer too!

The cabin is gem. Well equipped and beautiful restored and decorated. You can walk to trails and the beach. The hot tub, igloo and snow toys kept our kids happy and outside all day. My husband and I walked to gorgeous trails near by. And if it was summer we'd walk to the near by beach. We'll be back.

Overall a great experience. Details as listed are accurate. Location was great. And there are little details that were excellent touches. A giant igloo in the backyard to play in as well as lots of snow toys to play with. Great for a couple or a family getaway. With the winter time and mid-week the surrounding cabins were empty which made for a nice secluded getaway. Definitely will be looking to head back and dealing with Britta again!
