"Butterflies. Whippoorwills. Other song birds. Crickets and far off coyotes at night. Bees. Lizards. Adorable and non-intrusive ground squirrels types. Hummingbirds. Stars. So many stars. Almost no road traffic. Very close to Fort Simcoe which is an old military fort and old boarding school and/but if you're so inclined to learn the complex, sometimes very painful, but critically important shared history of this land - it's literally only a minute away and you will be forever changed if you go."
Kitchen supplies are located in the cabinets. Heaters control for dining area are is on the wall, and there are portable heaters and fans available to place where you would like. Extra blankets and bedding are available inside the chest in the master bedroom.
This home is great for relaxing in nature for individuals and families. Also a wonderful place for those that wish to explore the agriculture of the Yakima Valley and local history. Hop farms, Blueberry fields, numerous kinds of orchards, U-Pick fields of local produce, Ft. Simcoe National park, Toppenish Mural tour are all minutes away. For those looking for more activity Legends Casino or local golf are nearby. Winter there is great skiing at White Pass just 60 miles away. Secluded yet close to many of the Yakima Valley wineries and craft breweries this would be great place for those that wish to tour/taste. The ample yard is a great place to enjoy some of your favorite yard games. A private porch to see the sunrise or relaxing in the yard provides a space to unwind at the end of the day as you watch the sunset over Mt. Adams. Summer, spring and fall lots of beautiful sunny weather.

This place is in the middle of no where. It is quiet and peaceful. Beautiful views. We were lucky enough to have a thunder storm while we were there and sitting on that covered porch area made it devine. Minor draw back is that it is 20 miles as a crow flies to a big town that has a walmart or a winco or something. GPS doesn't help get you from the property to said stores so buy your supplies before you come in. Property owner was great with communication. The place is older and in need of a few minor repairs but it is an old farm style/ spanish style home in the boonies.

Loved our proximity to the mountains and was especially pretty during our transition from Fall to Winter. The property has space to walk around and hang out outside, while the inside gives you the simple necessities for a weekend getaway.
