Sneak past the cactus in the courtyard into Nook when nobody’s looking and marvel at the craftsmanship and design flair you will find there. There is riotous colour everywhere with echoes of South America and a simple on trend industrial feel. The snug has a giant retro Smeg fridge and stylish chaise longue with flat screen TV and Mike’s clever recycled apple box breakfast bar/kitchen area will surely inspire you. Your own sauna awaits in the private courtyard garden.

Lower Barns is a unique hiding place where you can rest, relax and slip away from the pressures of everyday life and discover what really matter…precious time to spend with partners, family and friends while we look after you. Maybe you are planning to get engaged, a honeymoon, a mini-moon, a hen party, a wedding or perhaps just an escape.
Evening meals are served in The Shack or The Party Shed. Loaded with twinkly lights, candles and a warming fire. Bring your own booze and make sure you book in advance.
Breakfast is served in your room between 8.30 and 9.30.

You couldn't ask for more, amazing place to stay we said in October, weather wasn't the best, but when the sun is out and your in your very own private court yard, sat is the hot tub, completely bless and tranquil, you could be anywhere. This was my wife's and I first time here and will be coming back again and again, the owners are so pleasant and accommodating, we even had breakfast delivered to our accommodation. Would highly recommend.

Total switch off and relaxation in accommodation that was pure, quirky luxury. It was well equipped, beautifully decorated in vivid colours; think South American colours.

Stayed two nights in Nook. Beautifully secluded location - our Satnav said we were 'navigating off road' for the last mile! Received a warm welcome. The owners have gone above and beyond in creating a wonderful and interesting environment. Facilities excellent - rooms top notch.

Wow, just wow!
I tried to find something different, unique, a little piece of heaven to celebrate our first mini break without the children and pooch in toe, and smashed it out of the park when booking a three night stay at Lower Barns! Initially drawn in by the rating, glowing reviews and gallery on the website, but trust me the reality is even better. This place is special, so calm and peaceful, in fact that good we extended our stay by a night!
