Great location and lovely place equipped with the essentials.

Very comfortable apartment for our trip (2 young kids), it had pretty much everything we needed for some basic cooking and relaxing. WIFI worked really well. This was a ground-level unit so we had a very nice backyard patio where we could just sit and enjoy the sound of waves in the back (beach is very close) while having a drink/reading. On-site pool was clean and not very crowded so we spent a lot of time there. Our host, Lidia, was very helpful and even arranged for a kid life jacket which really made our 5 year-old daughter's swimming so enjoyable.

We had the bad luck that the time of the year had our beach (and pretty much all of the Zona Hoteliera really) with fairly strong waves which were bringing a lot of sea weed (Sargassum) so that made beach access a little less ideal but it seems that the Cancun tourism folks try to clean this up etc. Luckily the pool was there and worked great as a backup.

Lidia was helpful and let us check-in around 11 pm. The property is in the Cancun Zona Hotelera and there are very frequent red bused shuttling around the area.

The floor was dirty, lots of sand and human hair. The apartment above us was also rented out to tourists, who were extremely noisy (shouting, making noise starting at 6 am, etc.). You could also hear anyone opening or closing a door in the condo. The pool was dirty (sand on the bottom) and the kids didn't want to swim there.
