About this cottage rental
By keeping as many of the original features as possible, the cottages have been given a lovely feel – in particular, the original roof height has been kept, giving a wonderful feeling of space and light.
Both cottages have 2 bedrooms, and each bedroom sleeps 2 people. The beds are Ziplock beds which can be configured into doubles or twins as required.
All bedrooms feature the following:
¦Individual reading lights for every bed
¦Large wardrobe
¦Central heating
The Dairy Cottage has both bedrooms on the ground floor. The Shippon Cottage has one bedroom on the ground floor and one on the 1st floor.
The bathroom in each cottage features the following:
¦Separate power shower
¦Full-length bath
¦Basin with illuminated mirror
¦Heated towel rail
¦Storage cabinet
The lounge in each cottage is spacious and well-equipped, and is a comfortable place to relax.
The lounge features the following:
¦large sofas
¦large screen LCD TV with Freeview channels
¦DVD player
¦remote controlled flame-effect electric fire
¦local lighting
A woodland walk has been built on the farm, close to the cottages - guests are welcome to use this at any time. It makes a really pleasant stroll in classic English countryside, as it winds around ponds and trees. The installation of bird boxes means that there is plenty of wildlife to see.
