About this cabin rental
Self catering log cabin which sleeps 4 in 1 double and 1 twin room. There is also a living room and dining area, shower room and galley kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge. It is all on the ground floor level except there are 3 steps up to the front door. There is a television and dvd player in the living room and sky tv free channels. Parking is available just outside for two cars.
Lurchers Cabin is situated in a small cul-de-sac, only five minutes walk from Aviemore village centre. It is ideal for those who wish to spend a holiday in the Cairngorms National Park at a reasonable price. This comfortable two bedroomed log cabin style chalet has recently been upgraded to provide quality self catering accommodation for up to four guests.
Aviemore is well known as a visitor resort with year round outdoor activities. There has been considerable investment in the area recently including a new leisure and conference facility and a new championship golf course. The village itself is also currently undergoing a major transformation with a new square and transport interchange. There are many visitor attractions in the surrounding area for all ages and abilities.
As the cabin is actually in the village it is particularly suitable for visitors who are coming by public transport. The mainline railway station and coach stop are just a few minutes walk away. There are excellent local bus links and bike hire nearby.

To comply with standards we do not permit pets in the cabin, and for the comfort of guests we operate a no smoking policy. Smoking is permitted on the covered veranda.

The cabin was really comfortable and cozy. I really liked the rustic decorations and pictures of the Cairngorms. It was clean and well located. Good communication from the host.

Cabin is clean and a decent size for a family of 4. Great location and in walking distance to the town and to the river. Lovely scenic walks nearby too. Cabin was warm and comfortable and had some interesting books and a selection of board games which was fab in the evening.

We had a very good holiday in this cabin, the outside was lovely and we did great things everyday. the cabin was tight - the toilet was very tight for my son who has longer legs. Great there was internet which we were worried about. The cleaning and upkeep could have been better - there was a lot of dust and lightbulb was not working but there was a spare one in the cupboard so we changed it and gave the place a couple of hoovers.
