About this cottage rental
Converted from the old piggery, Gamekeeper cottage has loads of character and is the perfect holiday let for families or groups of up to 4. For larger groups, Gamekeeper can also be opened up with access to Poacher cottage next door, allowing for groups of up to 10 people. Perfect for large families or groups of friends who want luxury self-catering accommodation to enjoy together.
With open-plan living and dining space and two bedrooms, the cottage has breathtaking views of the Bude countryside and everything that you need for the perfect family holiday.
The living room is equipped with a flat-screen TV with Freeview, a DVD player, DAB radio/CD/iPod dock and two new comfortable two-seater leather suites. Each cottage also has its own internet router, providing good WiFi connection.
The kitchen area is brand-new and fully-equipped with all you should need including, a double oven and grill, electric hob with extractor, microwave, fridge freezer, and dishwasher.
Upstairs there is a large, new, modern bathroom. Complete with a bath, separate shower cubicle, basin vanity unit, heated mirror, and heated towel rail.
Both the main king-size and twin bedroom can accommodate a cot if required.
Outside is the sheltered courtyard with tables and chairs, barbeque area and fire pit, perfect to sit and relax during your holiday at Glebe House Cottages.
We offer seven beautiful 19th Century buildings situated in the stunning Devon / Cornwall border countryside. They have retained their original features including their stone walls, wooden beams, and studded doors as well as having all the necessary modern conveniences such as wifi connection, Alexa Music Players and Smart TV’s.
The cottages have very recently been refurbished so that you can relax in style and comfort. All our cottages have been fitted with new super-soft mattresses, high pressure showers and solid oak furniture throughout to give our guests a true luxury retreat.
Sarah, Jay, Nick and Polly live on site and are always happy to help create your perfect holiday in an unobtrusive manner, whether that’s setting up games in the garden for children or serving drinks by the pool. Nothing is too much trouble.
There are plenty facilities on site to keep the whole family entertained including dogs*, such as the heated outdoor pool and games room. For children, we have a brand-new activity trim trail as well as a trampoline, swings & slide and plenty of garden games. Adults can relax in the formal gardens with the variety of a flower garden, herb garden, beech circle, woodland walk and vegetable patch.
There is plenty to see and do around Glebe House cottages, whether you are looking for a sandy beach to spend a day with the family, or to find the perfect surf conditions and other water sports, or if you want to go on a walk to experience truly inspirational wildlife, geology and scenery. The North Devon & Cornwall coastline is full of variety, with some fabulous beaches, fascinating rock formations all of them linked by the South West Coast Path including: Bude, Widemouth Bay, Crackington Haven, Boscastle, and Hartland Quay and Clovelly.
