The noise from the highway

I would like to specifically appreciate the receptionist at night shift for his excellent support and professional attitude. He patiently listened to all my concerns, acknowledged the issues, and genuinely tried his best to resolve them. He even agreed to upgrade my room, but he couldn’t as all the rooms were occupied.

Although I had reserved the room a week in advance, I was initially given a room with maintenance issues, including water dripping from the ceiling. After raising a complaint, I was moved to another room, but unfortunately, this room also had several shortcomings. The washroom had issues with the hand-shower fixtures, the mirror was missing, and there was no minibar or iron available. I managed with the situation, but overall I was very disappointed. Considering that the reservation was made well in advance, I expected a properly maintained and fully equipped room. The overall experience was well below my expectations and did not reflect the standard of service I was expecting from the property.
