Basic accommodation close to centre of Kortrijk. Ok for one night.

The location feels a little way out, being the other side of the station from town. But it only takes 10 minutes to walk into the lovely town of Kortrijk. The single room is very basic and the window can't be opened. Bathroom also basic and a bit tired looking. Only one pillow. The check-in is very smooth using the code and automated key-collection. Also I was able to check-in to my room at 1.30pm which was an advantage. Only time I saw any staff was at breakfast and they didn't say a lot. Breakfast was ok.

The room could have been a bit brighter - more cheerful decoration. It isn't very welcoming on arrival. And two pillows would be better. It's very basic and ok for one night stay. I'd stay again if the price was a bit cheaper.

Good breakfast and location.

I was not very happy about the room. We had a disabled room with disabled bathroom. It’s had a very strange smell and also there was not much ventilation. When you used the shower, the water flooded the whole bathroom.

I loved the smooth check-in and the copious and delicious breakfast. The location as well is great, 7 minutes to any relevant place in Kortrijk!

GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY WITH A GOOD BREAKFAST AND IF YOU PLAN ON EATING OUT FOR LUNCH AND DINNER.

Book here if your main focus is on having a place overnight with eight comfy beds, a good breakfast and a correct rate - which becomes increasingly beneficial based on a highter appartment occupancy ;-) Public parking is mostly available nearby (payble during the day from 9 AM to 7 PM and free at night) and, the Kortrijk city centre is a 15-minute walk; it's best to have your mobile handy to guide you or, ask for a city map when going for breakfast in their nearby Focus Hotel - located 90 meters from the Focus Budget with its rental appartments.

The kitchenette is too small (no way you will cook here for 4 - 8 people) and only has four chairs (again, for sleeping up to eight people). There are no kitchen towels and some utensils and cutlery are missing ! Some repairs are also in order ... bathroom and kitchenette cupboard doors did not properly close. The mouvement detectors in the toilet, bathroom and bedrooms are unusual and felt a bit uncomfy (but that's a very personal comment while many might not care and counter me with their comfort and energy-saving advantages :-) As a generic comment. Belgian cities are beautiful to visit and great for shopping and dining with plenty to offer for all !

Highly recommendable.

We arrived on a Sunday, so automated check in. Instructions on how to do so were 1st class. Location is superb for city centre and parking for our motorbikes (3) was literally outside the hotel front door.

Superb

Nice place, conveniently close to the city centre. Rooms are large and complete, a good option for 3 or 4 people (but could also house 8 if needed). Breakfast is super and the host is friendly, helpful….and funny!

Not a real complaint but a possible further improvement: the windows cannot be opened, so it could get pretty warm on hot summer days

Goede plek met fantastisch ontbijt!

Het ontbijt was super: uitgebreid en lekker. Erg aardige eigenaren, alles goed in orde. Locatie ten opzichte van het centrum en de Expo is prima. Straat parkeren (tegen betaling) kon ook, behoorlijk veel plek in de omgeving.

Kamer was loeiheet bij binnenkomst, de verwarming snel via wifi naar beneden bijgesteld. Dit moet je wel meerdere keren per dag doen. Verder een paar kleinigheden zoals het ontbreken van een tafel op de kamer en gebrekkig te openen kluisjes in de gang, maar het is ook niet voor niet het budget gedeelte van het hotel en ook geen reden om hier niet te boeken ;-)

Budget hotel, goed gelegen

Self check-in, goed gelegen, eenvoudig te regelen verwarming, goed ontbijt, alle basics met eigen badkamer.

De prijs is nog steeds vrij hoog voor een budget hotel. Dit wordt wel goedgemaakt door het inbegrepen ontbijt. De douchevloer is een gescheurd stuk linoleum, dit komt niet hygiënisch over.

Het ontbijt was erg lekker en ruimtschoots keuze.

De locatie zelf eenvoudig en oud, daardoor smoezelig om te zien. Geen raam leek open te kunnen.
